The online appointment service is easy to use and efficient. I used it today and it’s been updated to allow you to chose your preferred GP and slot- so easy. You often get advice/get seen on the day specially if it’s urgent abd if it’s non urgent an appointment is booked for you/use IT service to book yourself. The doctors are outstanding in their level of knowledge, care, kindness, and empathy. Better than private service because it’s free- how lucky are we! If all GP practices were like this the NHS GP service issues would be solved. Huge thank you to the team for supporting their local community so well.

My 5 months old daughter was unwell this week. Every time I submitted the form I got a call after 3-4 minutes and an appointment within 30-45 min. Today my daughter cough worsened and the GP called me and told me to come in. He swiftly prescribed some steroid for croup and my daughter is already getting better since a few hours so hopefully we are avoiding the worse. This is how GP surgeries should work and well done in avoiding putting pressure on A and E on a Friday evening! Fingers crossed 🤞 steroids will be enough for her. Thank you again Swiss Cottage surgery.

If all surgeries were like this one there would never be any complaints about the NHS. The doctors and all the receptionists are excellent and always happy to help. I am generally able to get an appointment within a day or two and always leave feeling reassured and better than when I arrived. I would be

I left one GP practice because they never notified me about my yearly flu injections. When I tried another I couldn't even get an appointment for severe pains in my legs. In desperation I went there physically to ask for an appointement. The receptionist loudly asked me, within earshot of everyone else, why I wanted to see a doctor. I didn't actually know what was causing the problem so I said (guessing) "rheumatic pains". The receptionist then did something on her computer, and said "we can't give you an appointment. Take Ibuprofen". Some time later, still with the pains, a friend recommended Swiss Cottage Surgery. I enrolled, and got an appointment straight away. The GP sent me for specialist scans and then diagnosed my illness (which was not rheumatic pains) and prescribed further ongoing treatment. This practice is excellent but I fear it may not survive in the face of the constant pressure GPs are under.

I've been at the surgery for 8 years now and I'm impressed on how efficient and good quality it is. From filling in a form online to seing the doctor in 2h is impressive to be honest. The doctors are well mannered and very knowleagable. I keep being impressed along the years and happy to be with the surgery! I highly recommend it.

Brilliant service, requested a blood test due to concerns with family health - received a response by text within 30min and was able to get my blood tests later that day. Absolutely excellent. Always a lovely team and excellent support.

The Doctors at this surgery are great & go above & beyond to assist,They are sympathectic & compassionate & listen in depth to any problem you may have The Reception staff are both polite & courteous

I have brought this up with the surgery before... they call me by the wrong middle name. No one seems to care. There is no procedure to correct this. It makes one feel like a machine. Where are the humans? What is the procedure to do this as the humans that are around don't know how to change this.

I would like to commend the practice and especially Dr.C on their attentive and warm professional conduct. I came in to discuss a sensitive matter and was made to feel safe and heard. My health concern was dealt with in a dignified and reassuring manner and I'm so grateful for the expert treatment and advice offered to me. Thank you once again!
