    The surgery tells patients to call in for appointments at 8am. I started calling from 7:59am thinking to get the first call as soon as the line opens. It’s 8:33 now and lines are still not open. My wife says this happens with all the time. Sometimes upto 45mins until the phone starts ringing. That’s just the first stage to connect your phone with the surgery phone line. The next is you wait in que as soo many people have probably been doing same. Then trying to get the appointment to see GP as the reception staff always try to fob you off to the pharmacy or divert you with another service but not the GP. It’s 08:41am now still phone not connecting.

    This is a great practice, 63yrs I have been with them, the doctors are the best and kindest and all the staff who great you when you arrive or on the telephone are so kind and helpfull I always have a laugh with them, not to forget the nurses and physios, A big thanks to you all keep up the good work,

    I attended the practice for a follow up appointment. I was seen by the GP who I have seen once before. A second opinion was sort and I was duly seen and advice given with a referral to the hospital booked going straight there I was seen straight away and treatment prescribed and medication provided. I was so impressed by the professionalism of all concerned and the level of care given. A great experience while enduring a difficult condition. Many thanks to all.

  4. Review titled Hard to contact + bad service

    Whenever I try to contact this GP, I find it very hard to get in contact. Unfortunately, I'm not put on the waiting line. Instead, the line is just dropped. This is very annoying as you don't know how often you have to call back to get in contact. I usually call this GP for several relatives. I regularly have to try and call them for over 30 min to get in contact. After you get over the first hurdle, the second issue is to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame if you have more than one issue. It is not uncommon to get an appointment after 3 or 4 weeks.
