    Rang late in the day and was had a call back within 30 mins from the nurse.problem sorted and script arranged. The nurse was very helpful and rang me the next day to follow up. Thankyou

    I had a meeting on 15/05/22 at 10:10 I waited 30 minutes for the meeting. I was at the doctor's office at 10:40. The doc informed me that I only have 10 minutes for me, not 15 minutes. During the meeting, the doctor answered her private phone saying that it was important because she left the hospital and returned in 2 minutes. My meeting ended at 10:50. And yesterday I was taken by ambulance to the hospital because I was working on the freezer at work and I had an asthma attack, chest pain, shortness of breath and cough. I've had this happen a few times before and I shouldn't be working in freezers. The Swallownest GP doctor hasn't even read the letter from the Hospital Doctor who advises me to get tested for asthma and put up a fit note that I can't work in the freezer anymore. And the Doctor from the GP in Swallownest did not issue a fit note for me that I can no longer work in the freezer. She wrote me a prescription for an inhaler and said I could keep working in the freezer and she didn't even refer me for an asthma test.

    Swallownest Health Centre have always shown compassion and given us same day appointments for my children when they have been unwell. The clinicians are thorough and friendly. The receptionists/call Handlers today have been extremely quick at getting down the telephone queue and providing a timely appointment suitable to the needs of the patient. Thank you 😊

    Just cancelled my medication without prior notice!!! Then had the audacity via an untrained stroppy receptionist to say they had sent me a text, really?? This is where your hard earned tax payers money goes. Diabolical service. The NHS is doomed in this country........

    I rang yesterday for an appointment to be told only 3 available for today but at Kiveton Park. I’ve no transport and it’s ridiculous I have to go to another practice for an appointment. I was told I had to ring up 8.00am next day. I work shifts and I’m on a 6.00am start so that’s impossible to do. I could if it was a 5 minute call, but you would be waiting 30/40 mins for the call to be answered. So now I have to wait another week for my day off. My husband could never ring at 8am so he’s never going to get an appointment. We use to be able to book an appointment even if it was for a week upfront. Why can we not do that anymore as your system seems to have gone backwards.

    Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. It is very difficult for us to respond to anonymous feedback without allowing us to investigae fully. We would always encourage our patients to contact us directly in the first instance with any concerns or negativity in relation to our services. We also have the facility to listen back to our recorded calls or watch CCTV footage with regards to any patient contacts. We would have offered you an appointment at Swallownest if there had been one to offer. We encourage our patients to provide clarity with regards to their communication so that we have sufficient details to help them accordingly. Additional evening and weekend appointments are available to book via The Rotherham Health App if you are able to sign up to it. With regards to call waiting, we answer our calls under 10 minutes and we have evidence to support this. Appointments can still be booked in advance. Unfortunately there is greater demand than there has ever been. Hence the reason that we are all working together in providing additional access.     Rang at 8am as young one had high fever no. of days. Got into the queue after a few tries and call was answered after 6 minutes and got a same day F2F appointment.

    After being prescribed medication by the hospital & them requesting for the GP Surgery to do repeat prescriptions the reception team has been very helpful in assisting with this action.

    I called recently to try and get a last minute appointment for my child. The receptionist advised that no appointments were available but if I needed one to try and call back later in the day to see if anyone had a cancellation. The receptionist was very helpful and understanding of my needs around working and did the best for my child to be seen. I have called on previous occasions and this has been with a similar outcome. I would like to praise the reception staff at the health centre and hope this this remains a good level of service for the future.
