I’ve had to visit the surgery a number of times in the last couple of years both for myself and my children. I have seen both the GP and one of their nurse practitioners several times but have also had appointments with the nurses and dealt with the dispensary staff. All are genuinely lovely but my particular praise is for the nurse practitioner and GP. They clearly take the time to check the patient’s notes before coming to fetch you from their waiting area which enables them to give a good personal touch and show their patients they are interested and care. I’ve experienced other large local medical centres and they just do not give the same attention. I saw the nurse practitioner yesterday with my two children who were both unwell but also have ongoing problems I needed to discuss. I was given excellent advice, and an urgent referral was made for one problem which I was phoned about later that day, showing it was immediately in hand. Importantly my mind was put at rest about their illness and I left with an understanding of what to do next. Sutterton is a small practice but the team do an outstanding job
