I rarely need to use the GP surgery, but when I have recently, they have been amazing. The ANP has called to check up on my after medication had not taken affect and my symptoms were worsening. While the whole NHS is struggling to cope with the sheer numbers of patients, prescriptions, visits, missed appointments and services they have to provide, our surgery still manages to deliver a traditional experience where you feel like you have a team of real family doctors supporting you.

Today my daughter had a very high temperature at nursery. I went a collected her at 14:15. I rang Doctor's at 14:30 and was seen at 15:30. Absolutely 100% excellent service again by a excellent run Doctor’s surgery.. Thank you to all concerned for the excellent service.

Our youngest is currently under a few different consultants and throughout this journey for good health we have had our eyes opened up to how much work goes on in the background at the surgery, not just when we go in for an appointment. For example, being an advocate to hurry things along, seek and explore potential roots for support, and aiding next steps - all without us having to ask or chase. They have challenged others when we've hit walls, and explained potential barriers that NHS red tape might bring. Throughout, we have been cared for as humans - not as a caseload. We have been patients at Sutterton Surgery for a good 12 years now. All surgeries have been put to the test, lots have had their difficulties, especially through lockdowns, however we have experienced nothing support and help. When I hear of difficulties others have in getting help at nearby practises, still now, I am shocked as the running and management at Sutterton feels seamless in my experience. Everyone is a team member there (staff turnover is always a good sign... and I see nothing but the expansion of skills and people), and praise is to all. Having said that, a special thanks to those who are performing miracles behind the scenes for my little girl, and giving that support when it feels like a lonely battle - thank you for your kindness, empathy and for listening Sutterton Team!

I had appointment for my 2 year old daughter today with the Nurse Practitioner. The service was excellent from the Nurse,Receptionist,Pharmacist and Management. They all did there little bit as they could see my hands were full with my children and got my daughter's medicine very quick. Thank you

We moved to the area earlier this year and have been blown away with how welcoming Sutterton Surgery have been. To find a GP practice that is small enough to feel like a family yet show superb efficiency & professionalism, is rare to find these days when there are so many constraints on GP services. I have found Sutterton Surgery's staff to always be so cheerful and caring. It's rare to have your GP surgery's telephone answered by a friendly receptionist and not a robotic queue system! Also to be able to speak directly with the dispensary is quite unique in my experience, with staff who take time to answer any questions you may have about medication. Recently I needed blood tests doing prior to an annual hospital review and the whole process was seamless from my appointment with the nurse through to her emailing the results to the hospital in time for the review. And the Covid booster/flu clinic in October was incredible; staff giving up a day at the weekend to offer this service and again, to feel cared for as a patient just makes all the difference - thank you to all staff! In summary - when you need the GP surgery it's likely that you or a loved one is feeling unwell or needing reassurance. At times such as that, knowing that you'll be supported by friendly, caring staff means everything. In my opinion that's where true healthcare begins and you can't put a price on the value of wellbeing.

I’ve had to visit the surgery a number of times in the last couple of years both for myself and my children. I have seen both the GP and one of their nurse practitioners several times but have also had appointments with the nurses and dealt with the dispensary staff. All are genuinely lovely but my particular praise is for the nurse practitioner and GP. They clearly take the time to check the patient’s notes before coming to fetch you from their waiting area which enables them to give a good personal touch and show their patients they are interested and care. I’ve experienced other large local medical centres and they just do not give the same attention. I saw the nurse practitioner yesterday with my two children who were both unwell but also have ongoing problems I needed to discuss. I was given excellent advice, and an urgent referral was made for one problem which I was phoned about later that day, showing it was immediately in hand. Importantly my mind was put at rest about their illness and I left with an understanding of what to do next. Sutterton is a small practice but the team do an outstanding job

Needed attention for on going problem the staff doctors and reception are second to none very kind .. home phone calls .. medication sorted quickly and on going care…. Great team great practice
