  1. Review titled So helpful

I have required a lot of care from the GP mainly for my mental health and they have been very supportive. I feel lucky i have this GP as I have heard from friends they struggle so much to get support from their GP but here, whatever I ask is never too much. I am very grateful for this. They have supported me through some very hard times.

  2. Review titled Great practice

Was in a very bad place, phoned and spoke to a receptionist who was nothing but compassionate and caring, I felt better just speaking to her. She put me on triage and spoke to a doctor who has helped me so much. I feel these people go above and beyond to help someone like me

  3. Review titled Uncaring unavailable GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

I've been registered with this Gp since 2016/17 and they were not great then but since the pandemic they are the worst. They are 100% unreachable by phone but respond to online appointment requests only to redirect you away from the GP because they never want to see patients face to face or by video even when the issue requires it. Appointments mainly via telephone consultation where the doctor relies on poor/ hazy pictures taken by the patient with their phones. I had an infected stye on my eyelid that just needed antibiotics to kill the infection and quell the swelling. Took pictures and uploaded it with details onto their online appointment request form and in response they sent me a one line message advising that I go to a&e. I knew a visit to a&e would be a waste of time but I still went there in the evening and was told my eye issue was not an emergency and I would be waiting very long hours as they are prioritising more urgent cases. I was left with no other choice but to go private for help as my eyelid was swollen, painful and throbbing. I paid £99 for same day consultation and £25 for prescription issue at the private clinic where the doctor was shocked that I was sent to a&e for my eye issue which she said only needed a dose of antibiotic. Even after completing the 7-day dose, Surrey Lodge Gp still wouldn't see me to assess whether the eyelid needed manual draining. I'm now looking for a better gp to register with.

  4. Review titled Poor, confusing, no times for appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

I tried to get an appointment for a few weeks but only allowed to do it online via a form. When I'm busy in Uni they call, even though I've said I am busy. I call back and they won't help and resend me the online form. They send you random appointment times and when I went there was no receptionist except from when she popped her head out the office every 15mins. It was the weirdest doctors experience I've ever had and seems extremely disorganised. Only been there a month and am going to switch already.

  5. Review titled I like them. A real angel in incognito is working there

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This surgery it's not so close to where I'm living. I have to walk 2 km to reach it but I like this place. They are nice people, caring and helpful (I had a totally different experience in my previous surgery). The doctor that visited me yesterday, it's probably a real angel working in incognito. Thanks for existing.
