    I have recently visited the surgery for bowel problems and the doctor ordered the appropriate tests for me. When an abnormal result was identified, I received prompt notifications and referrals. Staff are very caring and made sure that I am taken cared of though multiple phone calls to reassure me. Thank you.

    In summary of the below - I am running out of insulin and can’t get Sunny Meed to prescribe any insulin that is actually available. As there is a country-wide shortage of Humalog 10ml vials (May 2024) I need this specific insulin for my insulin pump, I explained the situation to the Sunny Meed receptionist on 2 May and asked for a change in my prescription to a generic, non-branded insulin as I was running out (for your information, insulin is vital for a Type 1 diabetic's life). Boots and Kingsfield Pharmacists had told me that they both have or can get the non-branded insulin I need for my insulin pump. The receptionist phoned me back in the evening and said that the duty doctor had phoned Kingsfield Pharmacy and that they had got some in. I was given a prescription number for collection the next day, and was told this had been sent to Kingsfield Pharmacy. The next morning, when Kingsfield Pharmacy opened, I spoke to the Kingsfield pharmacist who said my order had been sent to Boots, not Kingsfield, and they did not have the Humalog 10ml vials; they only had the generic, non-branded insulin. Sunny Meed’s incompetence has caused me unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and it's crucial that such errors are avoided in the future. So I then visited Boots and again, Boots said they did not have the Humalog 10ml vials and that they had the generic, non-branded insulin only, as they had previously told me and I had previously told Sunny Meed (who had not listened). I phoned Sunny Meed and spoke to a receptionist and explained the situation again. The receptionist said the duty doctor was dealing with my request again. As the duty doctor had proven to be incompetent the last time, I needed to ensure the same incompetence wouldn't happen again as my insulin is running out. I explained the situation to the receptionist and how the duty doctor had said many things that had not happened, and that I would like to speak with the duty doctor as it was important this issue was resolved and mistakes could not be made again. The receptionist, rudely answered it was not possible, so I asked why and was answered it was not part of the process. I find it preposterous that I can not speak with a doctor on the above. The misinformation, which could also be considered lies, needs to be rectified immediately and should not happen at a Doctor's.

    Full marks to the Practitioners and Reception teams at Sunny Mede surgery today who responded quickly (thanks to their new efficient and easy to use ‘Sunny’ appointments system) and were able to book me in to see a practitioner on the same day of calling. I have always received friendly, helpful advice and treatment from everyone at the practice and am most grateful for all they do in sometimes difficult circumstances at the NHS.

    After this morning been on the phone for 3 hr finally I was n2 for another 1 hr and someone hung up on me so I call again and wait an other 2 hr to be hung up again So I was so angry and in pain I called again after 2 hr I spoke with someone who has said dr will call you Unfortunately until now no response I been in HP yesterday for 5 hr they said to speak to a dr but no luck please I am in so much pain I can’t sleep I don’t remember when I sleep last time Thanks

    The surgery organised the Covid booster session last Saturday very well indeed. There were plenty of staff to assist and everything went very smoothly. My wife and I were seen and given our Covid jabs very quickly and with very good explanation of the possible side-effects.

    Attended for covid vac. All went very smoothly - lovely attentive staff directing all patient’s courteously and friendly. Doctors taking details and administering vaccinations were kind and also friendly. All expertly carried out in what could have been a chaotic exercise.
