I cannot rate this surgery high enough. Outstanding care. I saw a lovely female Doctor today with my little girl who has an ear infection. I had a call last night from a very kind and friendly nurse practitioner who made an appointment for me. She went out of her way to fit us in for the next day. The consultation with Doctor was fabulous. She put my little girl at ease and checked her ears, explained everything about ear infection. She was kind, friendly and very caring. A real credit to Summerhill Surgery. All of the reception team are helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to help. Yesterday I had a telephone consultation with Doctor. Again, kind, caring and thorough. Put me at ease and was helpful and referred me right away for a problem I have with my knees. I have to say I feel relieved to have found a practice that genuinely care. I would like to name the doctors but the review panel won't allow. Both were fabulous.

I have appointments to see Gp to give me treatment for my illness mornings same day morning I have phone calls for reception my appointment is cancelled because doctors not available they move for next week when Monday again they call me again my appointment cancelled same reason Doktor not available I asked them if only 1 doctors work in surgery they was very rude to me again move appointment for next week same happened cancelled my appointment same reason appointment never happened and morning if you want to book appointment need to call 8 clock morning when they answer phone after 3 hours say to you not left appointment before Covid 2020 you can going your self 8 clock in morning to surgery’s you have shance to make appointment now only phone call very bad surgery and reception staff

I have called into this surgery twice this wk, first time my bp was high, I can not fault the treatment I got from the receptionist, she was so kind and caring, she said I was not allowed to leave until it had gone down. I had gone up about a rash on my leg she got me a e consultation. I then had a problem with my chemist they said I only ordered 4 things not 6 and again the receptionist text me the information to sort it. Receptionists get moaned at for doing there job, I have always had good treatment from all the staff at this surgery, I just wanted to say thank you because I have really felt poorly this wk and found how caring she was so thank you

Can't get an appointment most of the time, finally managed to get a telephone consultation this week but the call never came. Feel as though I have no real access to the medical help that I need.

Receptionist was fantastic very polite and understanding about me not being able to answer the phone due to being at work at the time. Doctor however was Rude and very non understanding about me being at work at the time.

I must admit after the practice yesterday with my partner, I couldn't fault both receptionists on the front counter, they were friendly, efficient and very professional in their approach. Well Done both of you! Majority of medical practices at the moment don't have a very good name but I think you counter balance the good with the bad. x

I was able to see Doctor on the same day . Telephone booking was handled very efficiently in a professional and caring manner. This continued throughout my Doctors appointment. I also had a prebooked telephone appointment with the surgery Pharmacist which was excellent. All points were explained and discussed concisely and in an unhurried way which I very much appreciated. Being able to review and discuss and get up to date with my health care has left me reassured of the good practice at Summerhill Surgery. My thanks to them.

Can't get an appointment . Ringing constantly every morning only to be told all appointments have gone. For some years it has been hard to get an appointment but now it is impossible. Although I am registered with this surgery I feel that I don't actually have access to a doctor. The doctors themselves are good but of no help to me if I cant get hold of one.
