I have a lot of contact with this surgery due to various health issues. I have always been able to easily get an appointment on the same day. Either by calling at 8am or 1pm. I have always been able to get thu to the reception staff within under 5 minutes since the practice was taken over. In the last couple of weeks I have noticed that they have now introduced automated emails and texts about appointments, which I have found really helpful. All the Doctors have been fantastic. They have always taken the time to actually listen and properly help me. I have never been fobbed off or felt embarrassed for having yet another health issue. They all have filled me with confidence that they really know what they are doing and are patient driven. The advanced Nurse Practitioner was amazing. She was very thorough and friendly, and I know from my subsequent referal that she spent a lot of time writing up my health issue and that she was in touch with a couple of specialist departments across the UK to progress my (rare) health issue. I have seen two of the nurses and they have both been excellent. Very friendly and knowledgable. The non medical staff are also fantastic. Due to all my various health problems I have needed a lot of help from them. I have found them to be really kind, helpful and efficient. They always get back to me regarding any queries really quickly and have gone above and beyond to help me. It is so important to have a good GP surgery and I don't know where I would be without Stoneycroft GP. I'm feel very lucky grateful that I am a patient there.

I had suffered really bad with gallstones and got 2 emergency appointments in 2 days with the lovely dr who was kind and compassionate and arranged for me to go straight to surgical ward.. which I was so lucky as it was infected and had it all removed within 2 days. If it wasn’t for the ease of appointments and the professionalism and caring attitude of the Dr I don’t think I would have gone back to A and E and things would of been worse.. so I would like to thank all the staff and the Dr I seen.. people are quick to write bad reviews but I’m so grateful for their help..

Had new ‘management’ taken over approx 6 months ago, I am not sure what’s changed? So bad they manage to mess up a repeat prescription consistently, consistently poor service.

Very upset still doctor phoned to tell my husband over the phone he has cancer How could you do that would not of been done with the last doctors it’s hard enough to be told you have cancer at the best of time even worse over the phone

amazing receptionists and doctors. I was given so much help with my prescription and was able to book an appointment on the day. this surgery is improving. pleased with my experience.

I’ve only been seeing one of the doctors in this surgery for a short time and can only say good things about him. He was able to resolve my concern by reassuring me and listening to my issues. Spoke to a lady on reception who was lovely also. Happy to be at this surgery.

Rang today for an appointment did wait around 7/8 min for the phone to be answered but I’ve waited longer on phone appointments. Spoke to the receptionist and she was really understanding and got me an appointment for the same day. Really professional and courteous hats off to her as you can get some horror stories of doctors receptionist. Really pleased with how I was dealt with would recommend this surgery.

My son is on medication that he cannot just discontinue because of side effects. He’s severely disabled with lots of medical issues. His previous doctor upped one of his meds from 2 a day to 4 a day. Apparently not on record and this doctor now left. Very very unhelpful receptionist. Told me to ring back at 12.00. When I did, doctor gone home so nothing she could do, so why was I told to ring back at 12? I’m having to contact 111. Disgraceful surgery. Gone rapidly downhill. I expect response. This could be a terrible situation.

I have been at this doctors since I was a child. Phoned up last week and spoke to a very rude woman on the phone wasn’t professional at all and didn’t receive good customer service. Phone again today to be on the phone for over 30 mins for a matter where for me i class as serious which I told the woman on the phone (who was the same rude woman from the week before) only to be told to phone back next week whereas I know I probably won’t get an app for next week now that’s why I phoned in advance. I think you need to do a review on the people you have answering the phones because they obviously do not care about the patients that phone up and don’t want to help in the slightest. Definitely time to look for a new practice, which is a shame.

I have been a patient of this practice for several years but it is now extremely difficult to get help or advice when needed. I did manage to have a telephone consultation (eventually) but am unable to make the face to face follow up appointment that the doctor wanted me to make. The practice was meant to arrange this on my behalf but haven't contacted me over a week later. I have tried to make the arrangement myself only to be told that the dr no longer works there (since last week!) and that appointments are only bookable on the day - ridiculous system if appointments are routine or for those of us who work or have caring responsibilities. The receptionist was also unhelpful and disinterested.
