I keep getting passed from pillar to post. I phoned surgery 3 days ago to get more medication for the pain I'm in. Only to get told when it was the last time I had tablets given to me, it's not my fault they only give me 2 weeks worth at a time. I now have to wait another 2hrs before I can call the pharmacy to see if my prescription has even been passed onto them, so that's now o 3 days ago since I have requested more meds. Been with this surgery for over 2 years. I have been in pain for over 5 months and only ever actually been allowed a face to face appointment, twice. The bedside manner of the receptionsts is not nice at all. Why do I have to tell them what is wrong with me, they are not Drs. I would rather have that discussion with a qualified Dr. I have had enough now. I am now looking to change doctors surgery as I am not happy with this one.

Dear Patient, we are sorry that you have experienced such difficulty in obtaining a prescription for your ongoing pain. We do offer an "on the day" telephone consultation with a clinician first and then if the clinician feels you need to be seen they will book you an appointment to see you face to face. Medical team are so easy to discuss your problems with. Feel very relaxed discussing anything with them. Had to wait about 15mins to be answered but often less. Medical team call back quickly. Referals for tests are offered quickly if needed. Has been my surgery for as long as I can remember and no complaints ever. Feel very looked after.
