    After calling the surgery for an appointment the message tells you to use the online system unless the is a reason you cannot do this . The reason is when you try it says it's not available. I then rang back and waited over an hour with still no answer just constant ringing . Please correct this so at least patients can try to decrease the calls . I still have no appointment and need to try again tomorrow

    The practice has introduced an online system for every form of contact with them. This is fine until I received a text message giving me a link to book an appointment but when I tried to do so, was told there are no appointments available and to phone the surgery. I did phone, only to have a recorded message on permanent loop, so it is impossible to speak to anyone. So I can't get an appointment they have asked me to make and I can't tell them that. How on earth are people who cannot use the internet supposed to access care from this practice. It is an absolute disgrace.

    Used the new booking system today. It is brilliant. I filled out the form with my details. 10 minutes later, I had a face to face appointment for that afternoon. No hanging around on the telephone. Well done Stanmore.

    I waited 1 month for a telephone appointment. Doctor rang and waited precisely 29 seconds before putting the phone down! I rang surgery back within 4 minutes, but was deemed to have missed my 'appointment'. Odd that in my on-line record its showing as a 10 minute appointment?? I now have to wait a further 10 days to try and speak again to this Doctor. How is this acceptable?

    I have always loved my surgery, I've been a patient for over 30 years. To ask for an appointment, that was/is not an emergency but isn't non urgent either, I have to wait over 6 weeks to either have a face-to-face or a phone call. I am having to consider paying to see a private doctor as this surgery is not able to treat or see those that need it. I suspect many patients that are truly poorly, but not urgent at the time of making the appointment, by the time 6 weeks has come around, will have been admitted to hospital. I am so bitterly disappointed with my surgery. I know things are busy and over subscribed, but 6 weeks! really? If it was 3 weeks i would of been angry still but maybe understood. 6 weeks Is not acceptable - and no this was not a routine/non urgent need.

    Understand why restricted appts during Covid but don't understand why it is still the case. Getting through on the phone to make an appt is a nightmare. Left holding with no idea what number you are in the queue and having to listen to the same awful music over and over and over and over again. In addition they closed my nearest surgery at Poplars even though it is clear the other surgeries cannot cope. If this was a private practice it would go bust due to such bad service. I have not actually seen a doctor for over 3 years.

    I was started on a medication for trail and needed more but couldn't order them, they said I had to speak to doctor, but they couldn't give me an appointment for 3 weeks after my meds run out, I was in a very bad way on phone as these were my depression tablets. They showed no empathy, didn't care that I would be without them, was told to ring at 8 each morning until I got an appointment or 111 When you do actually speak to a doctor they are great, but it's getting past the receptionist that's the problem

    I would just like to say an enormous thank you to the absolutely wonderful nursing staff at the practice who have been regularly dressing my scalp wound since a lesion was removed at Lister.They could not have been kinder,more caring or more professional.Truly exceptional people.Please pass on my sincere thanks.

    I recently had a serious reoccurrence of my medical condition, I was in a great deal of pain and the doctors at Stanmore were excellent in helping me with this. Also, in assisting me with a referral I recently needed to hospital. I have received really good care and would like to say thank you.

    I called at 09:05am on the 8/3/23 and a female receptionist responded. I asked for a copy of my blood tests and soon after she got my personal information she accessed the system and confirmed that my results are normal. I continued that l would like a copy and she suggested to come by the surgery. I then tried to ask another enquiry,l got interrupted and she raised her voice to me. She continued to talk over my voice raising her voice and she then said " sorry to interrupt but we do not discuss any blood test details.l replied that my enquiry is not related to the blood test but she would not let me finish and put the phone down on my face saying that they do not discuss any details over the phone. This is unacceptable and simply rude. As a patient , l would expect at least my enquiry to be heard rather to be spoken like that when l m not rude myself.
