    I was on hold for over 45 minutes to get an appointment. Call was answered by a computer helpdesk who politely told me that they would fill out the online form for me and I would receive a link to access an appointment. Link came through and yes you guessed it no appointment. I left my condition 4 days before phoning and was in a lot of pain, all you want is to speak to a human being and see a doctor. I have been with this surgery many years and it is unrecognisable now. 1. Where are the sit and wait on the day appointments? 2. The online format is not user friendly especially when you are unwell or in pain. 3. I was told that young people like this service !!!!! I am not that old and frankly some young people will have not experienced a proper service. Please do listen to the comments because your massive investment in technology will not benefit anyone. You should invest in staff and be focused on the community you serve. I have still not been able to see/speak to a doctor.

    This surgery is impossible to reach. I stayed more than an hour over the phone as I needed a repeat prescription for my son. I can’t use the online service because he has no online account. There’s an automated voice saying that our calls are important to the surgery. Wow! Nobody deserves this kind of treatment. My calls are being ignored. I can’t even log in to my account. Now I don’t know how to reach out to them.

    As a family we've been at this surgery for yrs, as it's grown the care and GP's have disappeared. You can't get through ever on the phone. If you're ill, you need to talk to someone to book an appointment, lots of people don't have access to online systems. Even though we do, I don't want to be managed by an automated system. We are in the process of transferring to another GP surgery that have real people in the surgery and you can book a f2f appointment on the same day! Who'd think hey! The last 2 times I've had an appointment I've been seen by a paramedic and a trainee doctor, neither have the knowledge or authority to work alone. This surgery has used covid as an excuse to not provide a service, although expanding, it is solely a business and has no care for it's staff as they are always rude and miserable but more importantly it's patients. Good luck if you choose to stay with them!

    The care and service provided by this practice is appalling. Waited an hour and six minutes before the phone was picked up. Heard 2 people talking for 2 seconds and they disconnected the call. No point in visiting the surgery either. Told that everything is online now. They send a link and you go round in circles before you get a result. They've provided my wife short term additional medications with no follow-up process. You only see locum doctors that only appear to be at the practice for a couple of weeks. So no continuity. I feel sorry for the staff manning reception. You can tell that they want to help but have been told to direct all requests to the online service. We really worry about people that are not comfortable with computers and smartphones. Will try to move to another practice but looking at reviews it seems that all are failing to provide an acceptable quality of service. .

    Its impossible to get through to reception. The phone will ring for over 1 hour with no response. Its very frustrating.

    Practically impossible to get through on the phone. Receptionist was unhelpful and verging on rude. Eventually saw a Dr who stated he would arrange a prescription. Prescription was not sent and again unable to get through to the surgery to find out the issue. Now with out medication for chronic pain.

    My mother's repeat script not done meds were soon to run out, she contacted surgery by phone as unable to use online services, no one bothered to answer, I then tried to phone still no answer just constant repeated message, I then had to make my way to surgery as mother is housebound, to be told to use online services, explained that mother is elderly and not able to use this to be told I don't have consent to speak on her behalf said if someone answered the phone would not have had to come down on her behalf, said someone will ring her, finally sent a text to say script had been sent to chemist, appalling service if you can't access the things you need, script had been put in 9 days previous

    I was advised, by the Hospital, to make an appointment to see my Doctor. I called up the Doctors Surgery at 09:00 and, after waiting 97 minutes, soneone finally answered the phone! I was offered a telephone appointment for Janaury 2024; we're in November 2023! It only takes 2 minutes to call me and discuss, but instead, I now have to wait 2 months! Ever since Stanmore took over, it's been a rapid decline in 'service'!

    I’ve been on hold for 1.5 hours trying to get through to this practice. My partner was misdiagnosed by a GP at this practice and also refused an MRI. Fortunately we’ve now gone through BUPA who sent for an MRI immediately who found his ACL on his knee is completely detached so needs urgent surgery. He has had months of unnecessary pain because the GP was incompetent. Only calling now to get a sick note and even that is impossible. God forbid anybody on your list gets seriously unwell!! We will be changing from this surgery ASAP.

    It doesn't seem possible to contact Stanmore Medical Group by phone anymore. You just listen to a Doctor repeating a message 35 times whilst saying how important your call is. Why is the group doing its best to have as little contact with people as possible? It doesn't make sense and in all honesty is probably the worst decision for patient care made yet. Who comes up with these hair brained schemes that tell you it's s an improvement when plainly it is not. I would happily leave this dreadful GP practice but where else can you go? Switzerland maybe!!
