Every physician I have been seen by at Stanhope Mews surgery has been engaged, efficient and interested, with a caring manner. My own GP has been tenacious and motivated to get to the bottom of a complex picture of symptoms. Reception staff have always been helpful and responsive. Thank you

Went for blood tests this morning. Very positive experience. Flawless technique! Friendly reception staff as well.

Everyone has been extremely helpful, efficient and professional. I was dealt with in the most helpful and swift fashion, and everything gets done with the utmost ease and professionalism. All the systems work and someone always gets back to me or helps in the kindest way. I have found this to be the case always. I cannot say how much this helps when health issues are complicated or challenging, or even when they aren't I always feel as though they are doing their utmost to try and help..... such a brilliant team, every single one of them!

I have been at Stanhope Mews surgery for quite some years. During this time I have found great caring and efficiency with every question on the phone. The Doctors are certainly the best, & I feel most privileged.

My mother who is 101 recently had a short stay in hospital after a fall.. after returning home was visited by the doctor who arranged a visit from a physio and several other services !! as she lives alone it is very reassuring to know the surgery is there for her they couldn’t be more helpful !!

I have had terrible experience in booking appointments with the receptionist. One of them has been very unkind, dismissive and did not want to clarify upon my requests of explanations. Documentation is also provided quite late and there is lack of dialogue between doctors, receptionists and patients.

I am extremely sorry, and embarrassed, that you have been spoken to in an unkind and dismissive way by a member of the reception team. If you are able to email me with more details, I would really appreciate it. We absolutely do not tolerate such behaviour from any member of our team, and I would like to be able to address the matter more fully. I would also appreciate more information about delayed documentation. During the worst of the covid months, we did build up a backlog of incoming documents, but found a way to deal with this. We currently upload all incoming post within a couple of working days of receipt - sooner if urgent. My email address is krydings@nhs.net. This is the best surgery I’ve ever been a patient of. They are very efficient, there are so many different ways to book an appointment and I couldn’t ask for better care. I’ve become a little spoilt as test results always come back within 24 hours, and I’ve never had to wait more than a week for an appointment. Any delays are due to my schedule rather than theirs. Dear Stanhope Mews Staff, Thank you for a really amazing experience today. From the helpful direction of the Receptionist on appointments, to the Doctor treating my daughter. As a GP it is reassuring that your family members can be seen by such a great team. The reception quickly booked an appointment and explained the new system well. The Doc took time to listen, address my daughter’s concerns and come up with a tailored plan. The meds were easily obtained from the local pharmacy recommended and we have a clear plan to follow. Thank you all!

With an acute gastroenteritis on a Monday, while GP appointments at the earliest were on Friday, I messaged the practice via the software system Patchs. 3 hours later I got a call from the doctor, who organised a lab test. Within 36 hours we had the result. The doctor called me immediately, and had the prescription ready on the spot. Highly impressive. Stanhope Mews West is very accessible and the whole staff is patient-centric.

This practice is not run in a fair or professional manner. I requested a fit note through the practice website and even after a week did not hear anything via email, post or phone. When I call them, they said nothing they could do and I should phone the following day and ask for phone consultation, meaning I went at the back of the queue.
