Very good general check up nurse this morning very knowledgeable and helpful. She took blood pressure readings and blood samples including one for Prostate Cancer at my request. The nurse was very professional and knowledgeable.

Feel lucky to have had this as my local practice for the last eight years. The e consult system works well and I am always seen quickly if needed (often same day!). Friendly staff and a nice airy, clean surgery. Appointments never feel rushed.

I was seen for an acute problem on the same day and treated efficiently and well. I received adequate reassurance. The doctor spoke very clearly.

My family and I have been patients at this surgery for c.30 years. We have had good experiences from reception, admin, nursing staff to the doctors. During the summer, my uncle with whom I was extremely close passed away suddenly and at a relatively ‘young’ age. I was and still am devastated and shocked. To add to my sadness and stress, I myself was admitted into hospital in the autumn and my mother has had health issues too. The review page states that I am not allowed to name individuals, so I will state that one of the GPs has been extremely patient, understanding and kind throughout this difficult period. His helpful advice and calm nature has kept me sane during these trying times. He has been my GP for many years and has always given good counsel. When necessary, he has referred me to other professionals and has always involved me in the decision-making process. I am extremely grateful that my family and I are patients at this practice.

The entire team from the admin staff to the GPs, always deliver a great service to their patients. This medical practice is a credit to the NHS.

Your Review: I had a emergency operation at UCH on 9th December with a infected sebaceous cis and had to contact my doctors on the Monday 11th to have the dressing changed which the nurses team squeezed me in considering how busy they are. Then I had to have the dressing changed every 2 days with the nurses. The amount of care kindness and professionalism was off the scale and I felt incredibly grateful for them to get me back to normal as the journey was very long. I’ve always been registered with St.Peters Street since a kid and always receive the best care from reception to nurses and the doctors. Thank you Darren Wright

just wanted to say how efficient the e consult service is. Put a consult in one evening, got a call next morning from receptionist offering me a face to face appointment that day. Never had to wait more than 5 days for a gp call back or appointment.

A very satisfactory examination and explanation of my knee injury. The Doctor was thorough and gave a comprehensive explanation of the likely damage and options for rehabilitation and recovery. I am completely satisfied with the recommended course of action with the option for a further consultation if necessary. Thank you

I love this practice. I have been with it around fifteen years. The doctors are lovely. They care and have a good ethos. I also find the staff very human… and helpful. Of course much of the time they are functional, to get through their heavy workload. I am always really nice to them, because they deserve it. Whenever I have really needed particular help they have also shown how much they care, and they have always tried to help where they can. I must admit I don’t like econsult and preferred queuing at 8am or booking online - I can’t have my phone on at work, so it makes it quite stressful waiting for a call back, but often you get a message instead. I can however see why they need to do this given the pressure on resources, and if I can request something by econsult rather than have to waste resources with an unnecessary appointment then I think this is probably a good thing. This doesn’t stop me thinking this is a great practice. I have never regretted transferring here - it was one of the best decisions I made. Friends tell me things about their practices, and I realise how lucky I am. Thank you.

I am really glad to read that you feel well supported by the Team, and can complete understand the frustrations you feel regarding the E-consult service. We are still trying to adjust to this new way of working ourselves and appreciate the feedback as it is a good reminder that there does need to be flexibility at times. We cannot remove the E-consult service, this has now been mandated in our contracts by NHS England so we are trying our best to work with the service, in the best way we can. I had the most amazing experience with attention to detail in regard to the fabulous service from St Peter’s Medical Practice recently. Their E-Repeat Pharmacy department really went the extra mile to procure an alternative eye ointment from local pharmacies. I had totally run out of ‘my usual’ eye ointment and was quite stressed about not having any to use. I expressed my gratitude to the GP’s & all members of staff for this and their assistance and support always. Thank you very much. I will not hesitate to recommend your medical practice to my family members and friends.
