  1. Review titled Wonderful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Your Review: My mother was seen by a doctor in the ENT clinic last year and was told if she needed to come back and see him that all she had to do was ring and make an appointment. Well this week we had to ring , and to my surprise I got through straight away , the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and explained that she would see if doctor would see my mum that morning and she would ring us back Sure enough she arranged for us to see the doctor an hour later. The Doctor and his assistant were lovely with us and was able to help my mum there and then With all the negative press the NHS has I just wanted to show our appreciation for the treatment my mum received, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you

  2. Review titled Bad phone call services

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I am writing on behalf of my 78year old Dad. The appointment booking of this GP practice over the phone is very very difficult to get through as the line keeps getting disconnected or shows busy during appointment booking slots either am or pm. One have to constantly keep trying every 10seconds that could end up trying 40 or 60 times to be lucky enough to get through. If one gets through under 10 attempts it's like hitting a jackpot. I have a suggestion why can't this GP introduce a phone line waiting system that lets one know the numbering while waiting over the phone line like other GPs have got in place. Also, we have to book an appointment to hear our test results and after lots of struggle as mentioned above if we get through the line and get an appointment we get told the dr will call anytime during the day without giving any particular time slot indication. So one has to stick their eyes over the phone doesn't matter if one is driving or in the loo or at work or in meetings etc. If the call gets missed as one is not aware of when the dr will call they don't give it a try after 5minutes. Patients have to go through a phone booking procedure again the next day if we can get through. They think patients or anyone acting on behalf of patients are free and have all this time to waste for themselves and no one would like to intentionally miss Dr's calls. I recently have the experience of missing dr's call while I was in toilet and call back soon but was told I have to book another appointment and its been 3 days now and I am struggling to get an appointment on phone so we don't know what test reesults are. This is very frustrating and reception staffs are adamant they can't fix this phone system and we have no other option but to keep trying their line. This system can be improved if the Practice manager wants and keep to invest some money to give better experience to patients. I am sure all patients of this GP are going through the same. Look forward to get this resolved. Thank You.

I am sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with the phone system, I would be happy to discuss this further with you, kindly call the practice after 16:00 and ask to speak to the management and will be happy to help and come to an agreeable solution.
