  1. Review titled Great Team & Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the receptionist at the GP surgery following my diabetes check-up on the 29th of April. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, answering my questions with patience and making sure everything was in order. It’s clear they genuinely care and go above and beyond for patients. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out, and I truly appreciate the support they provided.

problem with making an appointment Receptionists do everything in their power to prevent you from getting an appointment with a doctor I've been trying to get to a doctor for 3 weeks Daily calls are not answered until after 8.20 and there are no vacancies, so every day people who start work at 8 are directed to the pharmacy, even if you have serious problems! worst gp

Dear Monika I am sorry to learn you have experienced difficulties getting an appointment with a doctor at the Practice. I can assure you all comments are taken seriously. I reassure you all calls are answered at 8.00am. Unfortunately, this is the busiest time and we high call volumes at this time. Our receptionist will always ask for a brief note of your symptoms to enable them to direct the appointment to the most appropriate health care professional. Depending on your problem you may be not always need to see a doctor or get a prescription. The Local pharmacies offer many of the same services as GPs do. Therefore, you may be referred or signposted to a local Pharmacy. There are alternative ways you can contact the Practice for an appointment instead of queuing on the phone: You can Complete the Online Consultation Form on our Website: www.stpaulspartners.nhs.uk or https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/m88639 (please copy and paste this into your search browser). All requests are triaged and responded to within 48 hours. Please be assured your comment has been taken seriously and will be discussed with the Practice Team. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact myself – Sabina Begum (Practice Manager) on 0121 612 2500.
