  1. Review titled Don't sign up if you need appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 January 2024

Surgery works well once you are able to get appointments but more than two times when you ring at 8am...the line is so busy that doesn't even ring, once you finally manage to ring and it goes through at 8:40am there is no more appointments to give out. My baby needed care, even 111 tried to book with them directly and it was impossible. My baby needs care and it's impossible to get appointments, works well for vaccines but not for GP appointments. I always had to use the out of hours GP. It's appalling that the phone line doesn't create a phone queue and when giving feedback to make a positive change they did not care. Very sad, never had such a bad GP practice and I had 4 different ones in UK. Considering signing up to a different one.

  3. Review titled Very helpful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Beryl - Posted on 13 November 2023

Since joining this practice 4 years ago, I have had excellent care from the doctors, nurses, health practitioners and prescribing nurses. The phone is always answered by very friendly receptionists who are helpful ensuring that I am able to see or speak to the person who can help me best even on Saturday and Sunday.

  7. Review titled Excellent service from start to finish

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 October 2022

I rang the Walk In Clinic a little after 09:30, got answered straight away by a very friendly, caring, chirpy receptionist. I explained my problem and she said a doctor would call me back. Less than an hour and a half later, the doctor called me back. I described my symptoms, he then told me if anything got worse to seek further medical help but prescribed me treatment. The prescription was sent to my local Pharmacy and I collected half an hour later. Thank you all very much indeed.

  8. Review titled Repeat prescription process

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 June 2022

This process needs to be reviewed urgently, reception will not request repeat prescriptions over the phone and are asked to send an email. I requested my medication as an urgent request, due to lack of remaining medication. I receive a call 6 days later to say this still hasn’t been issued!! All in all I will now be going 9 days without medication, which I have stated to reception. No real empathy or willing to resolve urgently.

  9. Review titled Appalling service

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by J G Rawlings - Posted on 09 June 2022

I have been a patient here for 7 years and up to this year have not had any problems. However, in the last few months the service has deteriorated drastically. My problem is with repeat prescriptions. I normally have at least a yearly review but they have not been able to offer this as I was told no pharmacist was available to ring me. I have had 1 appointment made which was then cancelled and now have one for the end of June. I can no longer order repeat prescriptions online and have to email them with what I need. Was then told by receptionist that I didn't need them till after the review date. Explained that I would have run out long before that and eventually given an email address to send request to. The service has become abysmal, some really rude staff and an attitude that is quite frightening to patients. I have no faith in this surgery any more and am very worried that I will be left without insulin, needles etc.

  10. Review titled Hard work

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Registered patient - Posted on 18 May 2022

If you like to be made to feel like an unwelcome criminal by the person on the front desk for daring to seek out a medical appointment for the 1st time in 4 years, then this is the place for you! The care is decent if you can get inside.
