  1. Review titled Shocking practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Genuinely the worst practice I have been a patient at. The staff have no patient care and just want to put you off to other places. I put in an e-consult asking for doctors advise and they send me to the pharmacy. I then ask for a medication that they put me on to be put on my repeats and they tell me to buy it over the counter? Why put me on it in the first place? I also had an appointment booked In for a telephone call at the beginning of the year and never received it so when I called reception they said they would see if the doctors still “willing” to call me as if I had missed the call. Overall this is probably the worst practice in the area.

  2. Review titled No Doctors appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have tried to book an appointment on the phone and in person at St Marys Island surgery with no success and just been told to do an e-consult online why can you not book an appointment with the receptionist or in person. Why is every surgery going by email when some people are computer eliterate. Please sort out this stupid e-consult and let me book in person by talking to the receptionist.

  3. Review titled Bad attitude from manager and receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

The attitude from receptionist and manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. If I had treated them this way I would be threatened with being struck off . Staff need to go on a course on how to treat patients.

Cancels appoitment , without notice, Been trying to get a prescription for stem medications to prevent asthma. They'd rather I wait until I am in respiratory distress so I can go to emergency. The GPs don't want to work , they just want to shift all load to emergency services .

I’ve been a patient of this practice for 4 years, I’ve always had good experiences of dealing with them and due to my health issues that’s been quite regular recently, I can only speak for myself but am happy and reassured when I have dealings with them

  8. Review titled Even after being taken over they haven't changed

Rated 1 star out of 5

Waited in for a telephone call, I was informed I was get the day before. Call was supposed to be to discuss by blood test results. GP wouldn't tell me my full results as "he had only been told to discuss B12 level and Folic acid level". As a diabetic these mean very little to me, I had to drag out of him my A1c levels. He then takes issue when I say I am going to make a complaint. Oh! I haven't seen a GP in over 3 years. I needed to see someone about nerve issues in my feet, common diabetic problem that can only be examined in a face to face. I was given a call by a nurse, and then another by a "GP". Yep that was a great use of the practice resources and my time. Am now looking for a new practice but none in my area are taking on new patients.
