  2. Review titled Thank you for great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

during the months of july and beginning of august I was treated almost on a daily basis at the beginning by dr m. and followed by s. the nurse. Both were amazing but s. was caring, gentle, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was done properly and even as I needed to travel to the us during the process, made sure everything was properly taken care of. an amazing person and super professional. The nhs, st john’s Wood practice, and me are all blessed to have her around. Thanks you s. j.k.

  3. Review titled Probably the best in the Area

Rated 4 stars out of 5

There is now a new website again with the time consuming and waste of time "patches". There appears to be many different "employees" but all patients really want is to see a doctor face to face before being passed on to one of the numerous associates. Is it possible to request a particular doctor of choice - patches does not allow for this. Quality time with a doctor is more important than quantity as is seeing the same GP. I have replied to a link sent by a doctor but never heard back. The doctor is a very nice chap but not really interested in my complaint. I went to a local pharmacy who were quite disparaging about local GP's and recommended I see doctor privately but there is no way I can afford private consultations otherwise that would have been my choice.

Dear Kooki, Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. In line with regional and national guidance SJWMP along with all the other practices in Westminster now offers a digital front door and this has enabled a far more efficient service for our patients. Some patients want to see/speak to a GP and here in SJWMP we are proud of the level of access, continuity and responsiveness we offer with regard to GPs. Many patients do not want or need medical advice from a GP though and this digital front door enables the patient to have the most appropriate person help them. You are right that there are many other roles that are part of our team who help patients. Patchs has been commissioned by the NHS across practices serving around 2.7million patients. (North West London) You can indeed request a specific Doctor and we recognise this continuity is very important; you can do this on patchs by putting this message in a box and many of our patients do this. The more information you enter the easier it is for us at the practice to help you and sometimes patients do not enter much information so we ask them to complete a new Patch message with more information. We have a good relationship with our local pharmacies and indeed we often communicate with them about patients and medication and they are excellent sources of medical information and form part of the wider team that helps deliver care to our patients. If you want to discuss this with one of us then please do complete a patch or call reception or come in and leave a message for Dr Saul Kaufman or Dr Mike Nosa-Ehima

I came to have a blood test. Seamless check in, was seen ahead of time and the health practitioner was the best I have ever experienced at retrieving my blood…all with a smile, care, gentleness. Thank you to each and every one of you at the practice - you make a difference every day.
