You cannot make an appointment at this practice anymore. A receptionist just sends you a text link yo their website to write eat is wrong with you. 6 days later no one has called me back. I had a receipt from the site so I know my request went in. I have been with this practice for over 20 years. They also refused in the past to give me any menopausal support at all. Disgusting .lack of care.

  2. Review titled Fantastic Practice over the 30 years I have been a patient

Until recently I have rarely attended the Practice, but have always found all St Johns way Medical Centre staff helpful for both me and my family. Over the years my contacts with receptionists, nurses and GPs have been excellent. Following a hospital admission in 2024 I have needed to consult the GP frequently. My named GP has been amazing, and as I had been so unwell she even visited me at home. My requests for prescriptions and fit notes have been dealt with in a timely fashion. This is how Primary Care should be, offering continuity and support when one most needs it.

  3. Review titled Appointments?

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I had a doctor‘s appointment booked for today for 9:25 am. I got to the surgery for just after 9 am in plenty of time for my appointment. I was not seen until 9:50 am and I had another appointment to go to which I had to cancel because of being kept waiting to see the GP this morning. There was a patient in before me, but was out in plenty of time for me to go earlier to my appointment, even though I would still have not been seen until after my original appointment time. When making or having appointments, they should be kept at that time.

  4. Review titled Great appointment and practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I called to get my first smear test and I was given appointment times available less than a week from when I called. They had lots of slots available which was excellent and I booked on in for 6 days later from my first call. I arrived at my appointment early and I was seen 10mins early. I was a bit nervous for my first appointment but the nurse was great and it did not hurt at all. The whole appointment was finished even before my allotted appointment. I had a really good experience and was generally super happy with the service. Thank you!
