Rude, incompetent Doctors. No interest in supporting elderly people and when complained, was advised to ask for a different Dr instead of taking complaint seriously. No proactive community care. Would not come out to visit house bound father. Oncology team advised me to call GP but GP refused to help resulting in Oncologist writing to GP; delay of several weeks re support and no apology. Reception team; mixed…one really rude member of staff who delights in being unhelpful. This would be funny if you weren’t poorly and needing assistance, It’s a real shame as this was an amazing family friendly and community surgery but Practice Manager does not want to address concerns or even contact you when you request a phone call. Avoid if you take your and your families health seriously.

Just had a gp recommend I stop breastfeeding, wasnt related to my ailment and came out of the blue. Despite nhs and who recommending feeding till 2 years, this qualified gp thought she would give me her opinion that didn't relate to anything I said or was there for. This gp didn't seem bothered during the consultation regarding my condition but was still happy to reccomend medical advice that is contrary to medicaly supported advice. Not happy.

Use of the App is amazing , the practice responds quickly to your needs, better than having to go into the surgery and queue and wasting everybody’s time !

I am leaving a second review because I cannot fault the care, professionalism or genuine empathy that I have experienced from your practice nurse. I have worked in the nhs for 20 yrs and their conduct and care is second to none. A huge thank you to you, it is so greatly appreciated and I know you won’t rest until you’ve resolved my current issues for me. I’m so pleased that I am now under the care of St John’s whilst also appreciating your demanding workloads - I never have a problem obtaining an appointment when required. Thank you!

Extremely helpful and efficient admin team. Given same day appt. Seen on time, by professional, empathetic ANP who dealt with my issue and concerns fully. Did not rush me for time and reassured me whilst treating my problem. Prescriptions given and collected within 5 mins from onsite pharmacy. I had an excellent and very positive experience. Thank you all at St John’s Surgery.
