After 20 years of continuous errors and lack of care and attention, now my 5 year old non verbal ASD son who has had a germ cell tumour and has Asthma has waited over a week for a simple inhaler that can save his life and we still have not got it. The reception staff are some of the rudest I have dealt with in my life and I have dealt with many. The appointment system means you are unlikely to ever be seen. Our Son has been to A and E several times as they have never listened to us and when I have taken him he has required steroids and less then a Year ago was in over a week due to breathing issues, I had tried to make an appointment for 2 days unsuccessfully and rightfully took him to hospital. People need to be accountable for bad attitudes and behaviours and this is not the Dr’s themselves but the management staff/reception staff who are the issue. I have queued on the line for over an hour before to then be disconnected upon answering, I have called in and said it’s a child and still been told that I have missed the day’s appointments. I have bypassed the surgery and spoken to his oncologist before who immediately got him an X-ray due to his cancer diagnosis. I honestly hope that this does something to address this terrible Doncaster Doctors Surgery.

Had loads of trouble today, rang up to see if the doctor had sent my prescription to the chemist, she said yes its waiting for you at balby late night, nipped there and no prescription! Had to ring 111 and waiting for a call back to trace prescription. Pathetic! First script item wasnt in stock, so had alternative but no script a chemist. When receptionist said it was!
