I have been a patient of this surgery since 1974 when it was great. Now it is not good. If you can get past the receptionists personal questions about your symptoms and get an appointment within 2 weeks your doing well but I doubt you will. Their Covid procedures of telephone consultations only continued months after all restrictions were lifted. Everyone returned to normal work but not the GP"s here. I recently asked for a letter for and when I went to collect it I was told there was a £30 cash only charge to pay. Seriously a half page,2 paragraph letter that took at most 10 minutes to produce. Nice to see the GP 's here doing their bit for the cost of living crisis! £30 was an was daylight robbery for a simple letter. I have now left and joined another practice.

  2. Review titled Need to 'get back to normal'

I would not recommend this surgery to anyone because it is already difficult to get an urgent appointment and I don't want to add to the waiting list! 2 weeks for an urgent appointment is not professional and telephone consultations for a urine appointment is nonsense! This practice needs to return to normal consultations as soon as possible.
