After struggling with anxiety for quite some time I finally went to see a lovely doctor. She relaxed me almost instantly and I felt heard. I fear doctors and medication but she never made me feel I was being silly. She has calmed a lot of my fears.

I’ve used the highly efficient online triage system twice in the last week. The service is much improved with an option to talk to a doctor through a call back service. This is so much better than the previous system when you could be queuing for over an hour. I was able to have the same doctor del with me and issue me with antibiotics. An excellent service improvement. Thank you.

I work an hour away from the doctors/pharmacy so when I finish work at 5pm its a stretch to get there before 6pm, Friday the 17th I attempted to collect my prescription but ended up being 5 minutes late so decided I could collect on Saturday the 18th, traveled the 5 mile only to find it closed, unable to collect my prescription on Monday the 20th due to prior commitments but managed to get to the pharmacy on Tuesday the 21st with 2 minutes to spare only to find the shutter down but the staff member still there, I asked if it was too late and he said yes, I asked if there was anything he could do to help and he said no, what an unhelpful person, considering I had arrived prior to closing.....poor show.

I first contacted the practice with a suspect lump in my armpit. I completed the online consultation form and was telephoned within 1 hour, with an appointment with a GP the same day. I was referred to the breast clinic and unfortunately for me it was confirmed breast cancer. The GP I saw was caring, sympathetic and very prompt in her examination and onward referral. I have been undergoing treatment since September and yesterday I needed a GP consultation for symptoms relating to my treatment. Again, I completed the online consultation form and was contacted by the GP within the hour, who dispensed me a prescription ready to collect from the pharmacy. The service has been amazing, prompt and very efficient. I cannot thank the team enough for their compassion, care and responsiveness to my medical needs.

I developed a recurrence of my childhood eczema which was distressing. I was initially seen by Dr c in an ad hoc clinic when I was attending for my immunisations. He kindly saw me made the diagnosis and prescribed relevant treatments that were rapidly dispensed. Unfortunately, whilst there was an improvement it did not resolve. I sent an electronic enquiry updating the clinical situation and asking about further treatment which, somewhat to my surprise, but to my great relief resulted in a next day appointment to see Dr a.b his kind and prompt review resulted in an escalation of therapy which has already worked. This is not the first time the practice has gone above and beyond to help me or other members of my family, so a big thank you to you all !!

Having lived in 5 different rural and city locations across the uk in recent years I can honestly say this is the most efficient, friendly and knowledgeable practice I’ve been to. I really feel in safe hands and cared for by all members of staff. A recent example is when I couldn’t make it to the surgery and was asked to submit a photograph of the problem. I was promptly called back by the Dr who arranged for quick treatment. All in a friendly and caring manner.

Who I saw was amazing he sat and listened to me in my darkest hour and actually helped me. I felt heard and sometimes just that helps! Menopause is a very difficult time in a woman’s life but he has been so good to me. I will be sad to leave the practice as I am moving areas. Thank you so much for all your help.

GP called me in early which allowed me a bit more time to raise 2 issues which was helpful as I struggle to find time to make appointments because of my job. These difficulties have meant I have put off trying to sort out my issues. I found her a good listener, she treated me as an intelligent person and respected my views. This has not always been the case when discussing menopause issues. I really miss having a good GP relationship which I had pre covid with my allocated GP - it has since been hard to see him due to his current role. Based on my experience today I would try and see this GP again. I have in the past booked appointments on line and would welcome the opportunity to do that again if if were possible as part of my issue is difficulty ringing at the prescribed time.

I have needed medical advice twice in the past 3 months. On both occasions the administration was friendly and efficient, appointments were offered within one week, and the clinicians were caring and professional.
