    Contacted me to talk about my medication today. The pharmacist was very empathetic, caring and informative. I really appreciate the work everyone does at martock/South Petherton surgery. Thank you

    On Tuesday of this week a Drs visit was requested for a client of mine, who might I add has an end stage illness (palliative) at the time the need for a gp was of fairly urgent matter. Myself (carer) or my client had heard not a single thing from anyone. I called again on Wednesday afternoon, and was assured this was still down for a gp to come out. Thursday came and went... Nothing. Friday came, hopeful that we would hear something, Friday evening at 7.30pm my client had a phone call 'what I suggest you do is call 111 as it will take me half an hour travel time to get to you' fantastic!!! not only is this absolutely disgusting, it would take longer than half an hour to even get through to 111 on the phone, let alone how long it would take for someone to come out. So we've waited all week just to be let down on a Friday evening with the weekend Infront of us. I find it very concerning that there are poorly people needing support/ medical treatment and they are being so let down. I care for alot of people, and it's hard when we ask for help and get nothing. Everything is a constant battle, but the one thing I am pleased about is that there are carers like myself to look after these vulnerable people and speak up for them because I really believe for some of them if they didn't have support from us their lives would be much shorter! I understand there is alot of pressure on all GPS, likewise with hospitals, paramedics etc but that then has a knock on effect to the pressure on people like myself. We can do alot but our hands are tied if we cannot get help from medical professionals. I fear that people could potentially die because they cannot get access to the help they need and so rightly deserve. I do hope to hear back from you

    I had a review of my regular medication with one of the pharmacists. They were kind, courteous and informative and gave me exactly the information I needed. I am confident to continue talking this medication.

    This has been the worst experience of my life trying to seek some medical attention. The Ask my GP service clearly does not work. I requested a call back on 21/09/22 at 09:26. Today is 30/09/22 and I am still waiting. The site clearly states that , `patients will be contacted by the practice within 2 working days of submitting a request. I received a text yesterday, 29/09/22, telling me that,` one of our clinicians is booked to call you this afternoon.` Well, that never happened. To respond to the text I was given an email address. I cannot access it! It is almost impossible to get through on the telephone, I was once held for 47 minutes, 30 minutes as caller number one. My phone battery went dead. Nobody answers emails. Communication is terrible. This surgery used to be brilliant, but now............
