    I am really, really lucky that so far in life I have not had to call on the practice for medical attention very often. But I have had this viral cold that’s doing the rounds, for over a week and cannot seem to shake it off. It has really zapped me. I hate being a nuisance but my wife, having had enough of my coughing and moping around, insisted that I go see the doctor. So, this morning I telephoned in with the hope of getting an appointment (of any kind – telephone, online or face to face) sometime this week, before Christmas. I was offered a face to face with the Doctor within the next hour of my call. I saw the doctor, who was so companionate and understanding and who prescribed some meds. On a whim, just as I left, I called in to the local Pharmacy to ask an approximate day they might be ready. They had already received the prescription, asked me to wait (for about 3 minutes) and issued my meds to me. I went home and took the first of a course of antibiotics. Words fail me – I cannot think of the right/enough good words of praise to use. It is unbelievable that after phoning in this morning, within less than 1 ½ hours I had been given an appointment, seen the doctor, been to the pharmacy and was already beginning my course of treatment. Thank you all so much. Also, I know that things don’t always go to plan, but personally, I simply cannot find fault with my medical practice, or in association, the local pharmacy. How could it be any better than this? I

    The staff have been very helpful. The nurses in particular have been very kind and friendly. It is a lovely GP practice.
