  1. Review titled Poor service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I called the practice on February 8th with the following symptoms that were explained fully to the receptionist, I had a heavy cold that was affecting my chest and breathing to the point where I was finding it difficult to walk without feeling dizzy, I have had this condition a few times in past and it has been dealt with simply with a prescription of steroids (which gives almost instant relief) and antibiotics, I was offered an appointment and told I would have to attend in person, I explained once again that I was struggling to walk and didn't feel comfortable attending as I was feeling dizzy, I declined the appointment and ended the call. I then received a further call from the receptionist who had spoken to a doctor and was advised to attend a&e , my issue is why are telephone consultations now not being offered and why would I be advised to attend a&e when it is not either an accident or an emergency?

  2. Review titled Faultless GP surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been a member of the this GP for over 30 years. They really do go above and beyond. I never have a problem getting an appointment, if I call in the morning the queu is minimal and receptionist always very helpful. They are tentative and reassuring when I call for my children, often following calls up with face to face reviews the same day. Credit also due to the pharmacy and staff who are efficient and knowledgeable. GP’s are a hot topic in discussion but I honestly do not have a bad word to say.
