I left a referral form for a remedial exercise class to help with recovery to be signed by the doctor after hip surgery. I was not told this was a private form and only after 3 separate conversations was I told it had been in the doctors tray for 10 days and could take 6 to 8 weeks to be signed. Both the practice manager and supervisor just quoted the company line with no attempt to actually resolve the situation. Obviously waiting 6 to 8 weeks to sign a form to help with recovery is defeating the objective. A very disappointing experience at Saltdean surgery.

No response by phone. Attended in person, unable to get appointment for at least 2 weeks. Managed to get phone appointment 2 days time.

Having phoned and made an appointment at their request I attended at the appropriate time,only to be told there was no record of said appointment ,as I am recovering from a stroke this was no mean feat

I was overwhelmed by the excellent service I received from the practice today. I got a same day appt with a very nice G.P. He listened and understood my problem and responded with a full belt and braces approach. The receptionists were very sweet too. Excellent service in the toughest of times. Thank you.

I have used this medical practice for a number of years and have always been treated with kindness, consideration, and absolute professionalism by all the staff. Most recently, with regard to a particular health concern, I was phoned in the evening and invited in for a consultation by one of the practice doctors who, not only quickly assessed my condition and immediately arranged for an X-ray, but then communicated the outcome to me by text message as soon as it was available. I am extremely grateful for such outstanding service at a time when the workload on the medical staff is creating such heavy demands on them.

Visited the practice today and was very impressed. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. I had a consultation with the nurse. She was extremely professional and reassuring. They are each a true credit to this practice and I can’t thank them enough.

All the various staff I have interacted over several visits have been incredibly flexible, supportive and helpful. Also one of the doctors correctly and rapidly diagnosed me with a condition that urgently needed treatment and which would have been easy to miss.
