You hear of so many doctors where you can only ring up on the day to get an appointment - Rye Medical Centre (in my opinion) will often offer an appointment within 1-2 weeks for non urgent which I think is really good. The E-Consult service is fantastic, submit your query before 12:30pm and you’ll often hear back the same day. I have to say the main reason why I think this practice is fantastic (I know we can’t name names on here) is because of the dermatology doctor. So helpful, so approachable and explains things so well. A real expert in his field and we don’t realise how lucky we are as many doctors you have to get a referral that goes on for months for dermatology - I got an appointment within the week. Please never leave!

it’s hard to believe the negative comments are about the same Rye Medical which myself and my husband attend. Our experience is that the engage consult is fantastic with rapid response and an appointment made when necessary. The paramedic practitioners are a great asset as they always seem to have emergency slots. They are qualified, kind and caring and in my experience, if necessary get a Doctor to sign off what they recommend. These innovations free up GP time and give the patient a quick answer or appointment. We are very satisfied with Rye medical and based on stories about other surgeries feel we are lucky to be registered with this practice.

phoned on a Wednesday in respect of a medical concern. Reception brilliant, given a GP appointment for the Friday. Thursday supplied a urine sample. Friday saw GP who had results. Brilliant consultation with good news. Great service from start to finish, and made my day.
