    this surgery should not rely on text messages to communicate with people. I put my urgent anti depressant prescription 2 weeks ago. unlike the world, my mobile phone is an emergency item, not glued to my ear. And when I put in a prescription request, I expect it to be filled in. Now, because, I was unable to spot a text, I am now without urgent medication. This surgery also lets people down health wise, my husband has been struggling to breathe for months now, he might be 75, but with this surgeries care he won't get to 76. I should have been spoken to , not sent a text which is an excuse for actual people contact. an absolute disgraceful practice. the only good staff you have is a receptionist a___, and Dr.____ shame this surgery is such a waste of time to the majority of portlands elderly. what is going to happen now?. no medication, looks like going to lend meds of a friend, cannot wait for another two weeks. perhaps computers should be put aside for face to face, peoples illnesses might be prevented. something needs to be done, such a shame the public suffers every time though prescriptions failing to get to the chemists. when will I now get urgent medication, 2026

    Dear Mrs Goodwin, Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear you have not have not had a satisfactory service from our surgery. Looking into the above, we have followed our processes for reviewing medication. However a member of staff will be in contact to complete the form with you over the phone.     I had my bloods done by Rosie today. I was a bit scared but she spoke me through the process of what’s going to happen, when I left I felt so relaxed and I will always be asking for Rosie to do my bloods now! Really recommend Rosie.

    Thank you everyone at Royal Manor Health Care Tophill for organising my antibiotic treatment today 4/10/2024. The Receptionist and the two doctors I spoke to were really kind and helpful.

    I can't falt the doctors or nurses at royal manor, and the majority of the nurses and receptionist are very understanding and respectful ,but recently I was contacted by an unknown receptionist who was not aware of my health issues and was not happy thay were told to inform me about a clinician,s report and thay made me feel I was wasting the clinician and nurses and doctors time with my Health conditions, the response I received over the phone by who ever was on reception felt very hostile and upset me ,so please can more wellbeing and compassion training be given to staff that have to phone patients as the wrong attitude when phoning a patient can seriously affect the patients mental health ,

    I've been waiting all week for a note for work. Got told they all get bundled together and done by Friday! Surgery closed 20 mins ago still nothing. Now work will be on my back and due to the incompetence of this surgery I'm going to get the 3rd degree. Totally useless and messing with people's employment is out of order

    Spoke to a Doctor on yesterday and he prescripted some medication and told me to give him a call if it didn't work or I had problems. This morning had an allegeric reaction. Phoned 111 and they checked I was ok but was told to phone the GP Surgery to get replacement medication. Phoned the GP Surgery and they said no one was available, and I could try again tomorrow. I explained what had happened but the receptionist was very unhelpful and didn't understand. A matter which was urgent yesterday had become unimportant today.

    I want to praise the members of the administration team at Royal Manor health care. Today they went above and beyond to help me sort a prescription issue and were so very kind, helpful and efficient. Thank you so much.
