Advice was clear, sympathetic and constructive. Pharmacist seemed to be ‘going the extra mile’ to try to solve problem

Each time I have been treated, listened to and given the best care. Caring, compassionate people from reception to the doctors. I highly recommend this surgery.

  4. Review titled No concern for sick babies

Rated 1 star out of 5

We have been members of this surgery for many years now and it has progressively continued to decline. Some staff are lovely and pleasant, but there are certain members which are just outright rude. I cannot believe you can have staff like this "front of house". I could give you many examples of shocking care, but here is my latest, which has sent me over the edge we are now registered at a different practice. My daughter is 1 and she had a rash on her face and was not herself and not eating - I called at 8.30am on the dot for an appt... eventually got through after 40mins on hold at 9.10am to be told there was were appts for the am, but I could be added to pm surgery. I head out to see a pharmacist in the meantime who tells me she should really see a GP as she doesn't look right. I call back early pm asking if I can be prioritised as my baby is still not eating and generally very poorly. I'm told by the receptionist that the GPs prioritise their own calls but she will send him a message. I mention i'd like to see the doctor in person so he can check her over, only to be told the pm surgery is run out of a different branch in Leyton. This is no good to me - I am registered to Woodford. I eventually get a call back at 6pm, to be told, its probably viral just keep an eye on her. Absolutely shocking care. To not prioritise a baby who is not eating, and to leave her at the bottom of your list is simply appalling. She was ok on this occasion, but I no longer wish to leave the fate of my children when they are poorly under such terrible care. I am not willing to take that gamble.

  5. Review titled Very good

I have been a patient here for many years. I have always found the staff very helpful. I had a particular worry recently and the GP saw me, and referred me quickly. The pharmacist is excellent and very helpful I cannot praise her enough.

  6. Review titled Where to begin?

Rated 5 stars out of 5

For the last 10 years this practice has become worse and worse. No online appointments, rude member of staff (won't mention the name but it's a receptionist), hardly any appointments, rushed appointments even when you do manage to get one (that includes over the phone appointments). My last 3 phone appointments (when I was told they would be after 11am) were at 9:25pm, 9:10pm and 8:50pm, the last one being for my mum who has dementia. I missed that call as I was getting her into bed at the time. They called once and now I have to reschedule the appointment and most of the time you have to wait at least a week before you get one.

  7. Review titled Unhelpful staffs

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ashraf - Posted on 28 June 2022

I dont know how to describe the terrible service this GP provides. I understand that appointments are limited and it is first come first serve. Fair enough. But they cant even entertain your request for a repeat prescription. They dont have any pen to write with. They are too busy to fill in the form in computer screen. The reception service is utterly disgrace. Is there any regulatory body where can we complain? However, the doctors and nurses are really nice, if you are really lucky to get a chance to meet them.
