Rated 1 star out of 5

by Lizzie - Posted on 11 June 2025

The doctors that I saw was not nice. The way she communicated with it was unprofessional I was very upset when I left the surgery. I come for 2 things that day but I couldn’t open up to her for what other problem I come for I went back home with the pain on my left hand I didn’t not address it to her. It was a bad experience I had in the surgery.

Hi Lizzie, Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I am sorry that you felt you had a bad experience. If you feel that you have more than one issue to discuss with the GP, please let our receptionist know when making the appointment so that we can arrange a double appointment. 3. Review titled Telephone appointment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Margaret McNerlin - Posted on 30 April 2025

On 28th April I was to have a telephone appointment and had 3 reminders that it would be between 10.30 and 12.30 . I waited the whole time with my phone near to hand but eventually at 1.30 I had to go out without getting a call or txt. I got a call at 2.10 which I missed as I was shopping and couldn't hear my phone ring. I will avoid telephone appointments in the future as I'm not happy with waiting 2hrs for the phone to ring and then to get a call a long way out of the allocated time. I know doctors are busy but a txt could have been sent to rearrange the appointment.

Dear Mrs McNerlin, I am sorry to hear that you was told a specific time and that your allocated time was not adhered too. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It is our policy not to advise patients of a specific time as we cannot clarify when the GP will be making their telephone consultations. I will bring this matter to the attention of all staff and advise that they should let the patient know that we cannot guarantee a specific time on that day unfortunately. Please accept my apologies and I do hope that we can regain your trust in a telephone consultation being acceptable. Kindest Regards Ms G S Whitelock - Practice Manager

  4. Review titled Superb care and treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Brett Shepherd-Faulkner - Posted on 25 April 2025

I'd like to say a big thank you to all the doctors, practice nurse and the reception staff who's been fantastic whilst I've not been well, especially one who gave me a call about a very important scan I was waiting on and worried about. Practice nurse has been amazing in getting me treatment and doing her best to keep calm and getting me in to see Dr,who himself has got me scans rushed through and getting me treated. The other doctors I've seen this last year too many to mention thanks to you all.

  6. Review titled Poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mary Clarke - Posted on 21 February 2025

I requested my repeat prescription on the 13/02/25 I was left without my anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication & diabetic medication for 3 days. I had to physically go into the surgery on the 20/02/25 to sort it because no one had a clue what was going on. This isn't the first time this has happened. No apologies or explanations just excuses. I've requested a phone call from the surgery manager, but I doubt I'll hear from them.

  7. Review titled Wonderful surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Joan Hunter - Posted on 03 March 2025

Friendly professional and helpful staff from reception to the gp. Always feel heard and cared for despite being a very complex person medically. I received care for my ongoing cough and referred for further treatment. Staff issued my blood form and followed up with the referral that was ready to collect

When I was contacted about my mental health the Dr seemed genuinely concerned we talked about the triggers and he also arranged for someone from the mental health team who are situated in this practice to contact me of which they have.

  9. Review titled Strange

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 January 2025

I had an appointment booked for me, and a doctor call me for a telephone appointment and I have not even contacted the practice. Very strange, doctor then scheduled a callback. This type of thing is why the NHS has so much inefficiency and wastage. All of the above for an appointment I never even made?

  10. Review titled Long term patient of the Surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 January 2025

I had a face to face appointment booked with a GP from the practice. Due to the current snow and ice conditions impacting on the appointments, I had my appointment converted to a telephone appointment. I was rather relieved as I am disabled and was apprehensive about having an accident. The GP phoned within the alloted time, and the reason for my appointment was dealt with satisfactorily.
