    I have had at least 4 experiences in the last few months where someone has gone above and beyond to get my needs met. One nurse fit me in to get my flu job, I got a much needed shingles vaccine and during three GP appointments I have experienced thorough questions and a feeling of genuine care. I’ve even had a pharmacist call to review my medication. In a day when people are often complaining it is important to know there are excellent GP practices in our NHS. And all the receptionists …. lovely.. extra care and sometimes a giggle.

    Wait times on the phone are far too long. I spent almost an hour with the phone message saying I was next in the queue with a wait time of 59 minutes!? How is this even possible? When I finally got through to the surgery the receptionist was rude, when I was finally put through to a person before I could even speak to anyone I was "greeted" by someone who felt "yeah you're through to the surgery what do you want?" This feels highly unprofessional.

    Been trying all week to contact this surgery Managed to get through once during the week Receptionist was very unhelpful It’s now Saturday morning and I have been trying To get through for 1hr 34mins and counting This is beyond a Joke Lost all hope Waiting now for 1hr 45mins I want to click off but partner is forcing me to stay on the call ps : understandable why the receptionist are being verbally abused if patients manage to eventually get through

    We would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your review. We are sorry to hear that you had been experiencing issues when trying to contact the practice. We have been taking steps to improve the telephone access, by adding more lines and employing more staff. We can also be contacted through our website, using one of the contact forms, or by email. We would like to inform you that the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The premises is used by our PCN (Primary Care Network, which is made up of several local GP practices) to offer Extended Access Appointments. Patients should only attend or call if they have been booked in to an extended access slot. Our reception team work extremely hard to assist patients and understand that callers can get frustrated, however, there are no circumstances when it would be acceptable to be verbally abusive to practice staff.

    Time and time again you get told to call before hand... you call and the phone line says they are closed... even though they don't close until 6.30pm what a joke
