    Needed to contact the practice twice recently. Both times dealt with quickly and sorted same day. Kind staff who listened and did everything they could to help. I understand the immense pressure on primary care services right now and I want to thank the practice team who over the last year have been great in supporting me with various health issues. Thank you Ringmead.

    Thank you for taking the time to write this - gratefully received and will be shared as such comments are a great motivation during these stressful and difficult times. Every single individual working at Ringmead is keen to serve patients to the best of their ability and negative comments can be very demoralizing, but such positive comments are very uplifting.     I have received a letter asking me to come for a smear - I put the phone down the first few times as I was 44th and 21st in the queue. Called today and I was 8th so I held - I was offered one appointment only and told that they did not have anything else and I should call back! Anyone suggest another good doctor - when I call in Birmingham for my mom it's answered straight away and they help me.

    Sincere apologies for this experience and thank you for taking the time to let us know - if this hasn't been organized then do please contact us via our website. And apologies also for the delay in responding, but we have had any challenges including various nurses and individuals off on various reasons for leave; although our administrators have been investigating, we cannot see how there were no appointments available. We have since September set up clinics in evenings and Saturdays to carry our smears, plus a new online consultation service called Klinik - both should help to make contact easier and appointments that may suit working individuals. If you are still needing the smear, and would encourage to have this very important screening done, then please do contact us via Klinik and we will ensure this is managed to your satisfaction.     I've been with this practice most of my life and they have always been very good. However, I want to focus on the fact that most recently I needed help arranging blood tests requested by a private surgeon and the receptionists I've contacted about it were both very kind and very helpful throughout the process. They made the entire affair a lot less stressful than I expected it to be and I could not be more grateful. The staff at Ringmead always do their best to help when they can and I truly appreciate it.

    Failed to do a repeat pre6for a long term medication now having withdrawals. No one to call Just left with no where to go.

    You can't get through on the phone, have to wait in a long queue. My job means I can't do that. When I physically go to the practice. I am told there are no appointments, routine appts not available. E consult is not user friendly and if I couldn't use the internet I would be stuck. GPs need to get back to pre covid practice like all the other professions.

    26th in queue 1 hour and 4 minutes on the call then phone cut off as I was 9th in queue...this is ridiculous!! Very unsafe for vulnerable patients who need to get hold of a clinician. this is appalling and needs to be reported to NHS England

    Reading other reviews regarding the telephone system, I too experienced an issue today 18th May. Was 4th in the queue at 8am and when my call was eventually answered the receiver could not hear my voice, although I could easily hear, and answered, hers. Unfortunately following me answering her "hello" about 5 times, the call was disconnected. Hope this comment is valuable to your telephone system provider ? A second phone call resulted in a successful connection.
