I am extremely happy with the surgery. We called the surgery this afternoon as my husband was unwell. He was seen within an hour, and these are my observations about the experience. Everyone was very helpful and people went the extra mile to support my husband. As on previous occasions, we received prompt service and there was no problem seeing a GP. When producing a urine sample became problematic, my husband was offered glasses of water and the GP assured him there was no time limit for providing the sample. The Receptionists were friendly and came across as understanding and wanting to do their best to help. Today that included looking elsewhere for an earlier blood test appointment for my husband. It’s very much a team approach where everyone is clear about shared values and individuals work hard to play their part in achieving the best outcomes for patients.

Waited an hour for a blood test to find out it wasn’t booked in with nurse yet confirmed with me via email .didn’t have prescription and no help in where or when I may get this critical drug . Terrible and a shambles

Having been a patient with this practice since 2012 I have never had any problems with their service. Staff are always friendly and courteous, Doctors are excellent, always go the extra mile. Highly recommend this surgery.

I was texted by the surgery and requested to book my routine smear. I phoned this morning to ask to book. The receptionist said there are no nurses available to do the procedure now, they are recruiting and asked me to call back on 9th October when there might be a nurse to do the procedure and asked if I would like to receive a text reminder. The Receptionist is not certain that a nurse will be available from the 9th October who is trained to do the procedure. I did ask what the point of a text reminder is when she cannot guarantee a nurse is available to carry out the procedure and queried why I was asked by text to book a smear previously if there is no nurse available to do it anyway. The Receptionist just said Sorry and did not seem bothered, but just wants me to call back on 9th October, just saying Sorry again.

Everyone at the practice has been brilliant from the receptionists and pharmacists to the doctors. I have received brilliant care and so incredibly efficient and joined up. I feel grateful and safe in the hands of the surgery. Thanks for being a brilliant part of the NHS.
