In my 54 years I've not had a service like this practice gives. They always are there, whenever you need them. From the doctor's to the reception, and all the staff we don't see. I don't know what I would do without them amazing.

I’ve been struggling so much in my life recently and I really need the help of a gp. When I called I got dismissed and told to use the online system. The online system was disabled due to an upgrade. I waited a few weeks for the upgrade. I learned that the system can only be accessed at 8am. Due to my struggles it is very difficult for me to access it at this time. However when I was able, the system was disabled immediately, not long after 8am. Surely a digital system can back log and prioritise patient needs. You are making this really difficult for me. I’m stuck. Literally stuck and feel completely abandoned. I’m too scared to change practices in case others are just as bad or worse. Just sort out the admin side please.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the difficulties that you have experienced. We currently use an online system which is accessible at 8am Monday to Friday which will be turned off once we have reached capacity for the day. However, our telephone lines are also open between 8.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Our care navigators are able to submit an online request on your behalf if you are having difficulties accessing the system and they are also able to book appointments for you in advance. Please contact one of our care navigators at the surgery and explain the difficulties that you are having and they will do their best to support you. Tel: 0115 9792691. Review titled Really good doctors but sometimes there is admin trouble

The doctors at this surgery and nurses are always fantastic and usually the admin is relatively on the ball too. I have, however, been waiting 6 days for my medical records to be released to a private healthcare provider, something that a lot of people with other surgeries have had within the day. It’s a bit disappointing after so many positive experiences with the practice.

Thank you for your message. I am sorry that you are disappointed with the time that it has taken to release your medical records. There is a process that needs to be followed where by the records are checked by a doctor prior to being released and unfortunately it is not always possible for this to be completed on the day. pathetic Surgery! i was promised to be called by doctor between to 2 to 4. did not receive any call. wasted my whole day and when i showed up to the clinic the receptionist was rude and rolling her eyes while we spoke to her.. clinic was empty. at 4 o clock. she said only one GP is available. she said she could give me an earliest appointment for monday. today is friday. i have such severe cough and haven't slept in 4 days.... Worst!!!! If you are not empathetic then don't work in Medical care

An hour and a half wait. For a 5. Minute appointment. Only 4 people waiting in the surgery. Appointment was 1230 didn’t get seen till 1400. Apparently the doctor forget something from home so went back this morning and that’s why hes behind schedule. Not to mention the receptionist said that he’s now on his lunch break.
