I was late for my appointment due to the lack of parking and having a newborn with me, I tried to call but was on hold the full way there. I was only late by 10 mins. I currently need an urgent referral to a specialist within the hospital after recently moving to the area but was denied access to the doctor only to see the physio who would not understand an autoimmune disease. However, I was made to feel inadequate and small by staff at the desk and reduced to tears with the offer of no other appointment till mid May. I asked if I could call for an emergency the next day and apparently if you have had pain for a period of time it is no longer an emergency as stated by the "lovely" receptionist. So if you're thinking of joining this practice look elsewhere no compassion for someone in need and hitting a brick wall with the referral system, never mind juggling a crying newborn and a chronic illness flare up. 2-3 weeks for one appointment to have paperwork sent off while being in visible pain clearly isn't enough to be seen off a doctor or get past the bouncers at reception. Training should occur to access situations like this better going forward I would never want someone to feel the way I did today, helpless and stressed.

The whole team are excellent. A very professional, caring experience. from the Reception staff to the Doctors and Nurses. I cannot speak highly enough.

Sent in an online request for a doctors advise for my husband .The receptionist called today within 2 hours and was so helpful understanding my husbands work pattern and got him an appointment to suit him (evenings) thank you

What a joke of a drs , trying to get an appontment with a dr is a joke , told see a first contact practioner wait for an appointment because they dont work from that surgery

I called to get an appointment for my child who had extreme vomiting for over a week, I explained to the receptionist how worried I was. The receptionist was extremely rude and said I would not get an appointment and to call 111. The receptionist was so extremely rude in the way she spoke to me and when I said I don’t like the way your talking to me they proceeded in pushing me asking what was said to made me feel that way very aggressively, I kept saying I just want a doctor to see my son. I would not recommend this Practice to anyone as all the receptionists are rude and aggressive. I do not like confrontation and it is unavoidable when dealing with them.

I've been a patient at this Doctors all of my life, and being fairly healthy most of it I never really cared how poorly managed this practice was. But in recent years when I've actually needed a Doctor, this place is not the one you want to be trying to use. They never answer the phone, you sit on hold for literally hours on end. Often when you get to the front of the queue, the phone then cuts off and you have to start the whole process again. When you do eventually get through, be prepared to wait weeks before you can get an appointment with anyone. In this day and age you'd like to think they could have a much slicker and possible humanless booking process like others do. In contract, my wife calls her Doctors gets an answer straight away and usually gets an appointment same week. So this isn't a widespread NHS issue, it is this specific practice.
