Review titled Fed up calling to make an appointment

When I can see my actual doctor they're ace but fed up with calling to make an appointment, saying I'd like to make an appointment with a specific doctor, and being told that I can see a different doctor on day X. If I wanted to see that doctor I'd have asked for them. Just tell me the earliest I can see the doctor I want to see. I'm then cautioned that I am being abusive when I point this out and ask again when I can see my doctor. Sort out reception!

Reception staff appear to be indifferent when dealing with questions that require attention, where a smile or few words like "let me help sort this out" would go a long way (not only on this most recent occasion sad to say). Maybe the attitude of one doctor in particular may reflect on some of the other staff at this surgery? Overall, very disappointed with this surgery.

Over the years have found certain GPS at this practice very dismissive, particularly of anything to do with mental health. Some of them have a very unsympathetic bedside manner and instead of looking for a solution make you feel you are the problem.
