I have been a patient at the surgery for a number of years, as it is unfortunately, one of the few within reasonable driving distance of my home. The service I have received over this time has been consistently below expectation and disappointing at best. This review is sadly not based on the performance of the medical staff, nurses or doctors at this practise, but with the reception and administration staff, who are rude, abrasive and confrontational. They are not helpful, considerate or even polite and it makes dealing with this surgery extremely unpleasant. They ask for the patients to treat them with respect, and you would expect this to go both ways, but sadly it doesn't. I am often left feeling frustrated when forced to communicate with the reception staff and they very rarely offer any assistance to problems or queries. A patient, contacting the surgery for a medical complaint is reaching out for help. The attitude that the reception staff have, leaves a patient feeling helpless and humiliated in general. They do not represent the surgery well and I will be looking to move to somewhere that can offer a friendlier and more helpful approach. I would not recommend this surgery to others.

We were in Richmond for Christmas, from Brighton. My daughter developed a suspected ear infection and they happily registered us, consulted, and saw us the same day, three days before Xmas. Got antibiotics for a confirmed ear infection. Thank you, all at Quakers Lane Surgery.

My first visit to this practice, registration and booking appointment easy and seamless. Appointment with nurse, who was both friendly and professional, she explained what she was doing and why throughout, the appointment did not feel rushed and I even got my flu jab done there and then! The best experience I have has at a GP surgery for a very long time, I hope the rest of the team are of the same exceptional standard, Well done, in times which are still not easy for health professionals!

I had to make a short notice trip to the United States and realised I wouldn't have enough medication to last for the trip duration. I ordered my extra meds on-line on Sunday and asked to collect them on Monday, I got a phone call first thing on Monday to confirm my request and they were ready for collection by 5pm that day. Wonderful service, thank you!

Have visited this GP office twice and on both visits the service I received was excellent. The staff genuinely care about their patients and try to offer the best health advice and treatment options. Am very pleased that they are my local GP office. Thank you!

I just wanted to leave a quick message to compliment the practice - from reception staff, appointment management and availability, all the way through to consistent support from specific GPs, the care my family and I regularly receive has been wonderful. We especially appreciate how we are treated as whole people, with overlapping needs, personal fears, and lived experiences to consider - none of us have ever felt even close to 'just a number'. I would especially like to mention the support team who also embody this spirit and go above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, even in these complicated COVID and post-COVID times.
