    I've had cause to contact the Albion Rd surgery on two occasions in the last week. First time 4th in the queue, didn't feel I waited too long but it was helpful to know how many in front of me, as this made me want to hang on for my turn. Got same day appointment at Hadrian Park Surgery. I've rang for further appointment today, again given same day appointment. On both occasions, the receptionists were helpful, listened to my problem and got me an appointment. This hasn't always been the case when ringing in the past, sometimes there's been a long wait on phone where I've given up and used the e-consult service. Felt like I had to leave a review to say thank you. As a GP receptionist myself, I feel receptionists often get a very bad press which is often uncalled for. Keep up the good work

    Unable to speak to my doctor after being advised to by Cardiac nurses regarding reaction to meds i'm on after very recent heart attack. Filled on line form in to request this & received reply. "Your request has been classed as routine & a clinician will contact you within 6 weeks!" Thank god for NHS111 who had a Doctor contact me within 20 mins of ringing them & they were disgusted by response I had got. 11 days after suffering a heart attack & having stents fitted to be fobbed off is not good is it? How many people actually sit back in despair & give up? I used to think Priory medical group were good!!!

    I have only.praise for all concerned with this practice In particular a GP who has been nothing but helpful attentive and spot on with diagnosis of my mother He got her the right treatment and referred to specialist department and was.able to ease the anxiety she was feeling. I.would recommend.this practice to other.people just treat them with respect and you will receive it back

    I joined this surgery a year ago, despite anecdotal stories of how dreadful it is but I am now looking to leave the practice. It is virtually impossible to get through by phone, and the number of times I've been in the hold queue and then cut off is ridiculous. I have not been able to get an appointment at the surgery - slots are only open for a few weeks at a time but I have never managed to find a time where they actually have appointments either by booking online or via phone. When I did manage to get an appointment within a 6 week window, by physically going in to book one, it was provided at a different surgery, literally a 25 minute drive away. The appointment system needs a complete overhaul at this surgery.

    I live in the same street and I am appalled by the terrible service this practice offers. Or doesn't. As it's impossible to book an appointment. I see people queueing outside in the rain every morning. How can this be considered acceptable?

    My husband and I had a consultation with a GP at Priory Medical surgery-North Shields on Friday 10 Feb at 9:00am. We both were very impressed with the way we were treated. Th GP was polite, friendly and pleasant in her manner. She listened with care and provided excellent advice that was reflective of her in-depth knowledge and experience. She wonderfully explained everything that made us feel very reassured. Kindly pass on our thanks and this feedback to the GP.

    I saw a GP at the Priory medical surgery North Shields on 22 Feb/23 at 9:00am to discuss a health concern. She listened with care and sincerely empathised with what I went through. She wonderfully explained everything about my concern in detail that not only made me feel reassured, but I also learnt how to deal with any recurrence of the same issue. The GP's kind and compassionate manner surely made me feel valued as a patient. Kindly pass on my heartfelt thanks to this GP and the staff who helped with my appointment. Many thanks.

    I met a GP at the Priory Medical Group North Shields on 12 January 2023 at 11:00am to discuss some health issues. GP's pleasant and welcoming manner made me feel both comfortable and valued as a patient. She listened with care, answered all my questions with patience and provided excellent advice. GP,s empathetic approach and kind manner helped me get through a rather difficult day with a smile on my face. Please pass on my thank you to the GP. Thanks.

    When I read some of the reviews for this practice, I sometimes wonder if we are talking about the same surgery. I have never, ever been let down by one single member of staff here. Today’s example. I order my meds via the Lloyds app. This time, something went wrong and only three out of the six meds were ordered. I left a voicemail on the surgery repeat prescription line at about 15:30 explaining I was running short and why. At 17:00 I received an email from Lloyds telling me I can collect the outstanding meds tomorrow. I have seen a wide range of GPs over the last 30 years or so, regrettably increasing in frequency as I get older. Each of them has been superb. Same with all staff, receptionists, phlebotomists, physiotherapists – excellent people with first - class communication skills. Maybe when I interact with Priory Medical Group, I enter some kind of dimensional warp, and end up in a different reality where everything is perfect? Or, possibly, I unfailingly show respect, good humour and patience in my dealings with any member of staff. I (unfailingly) receive the same right back from them. Every time. Maybe a little clue here for someone? Thanks, as ever, for your personal, high quality and effective services.

    I have been a patience for a number of year but since Covid it is terrible. I don’t know if they don’t have enough staff or too many patients. They don’t book appointments when advised, the set up for wrong blood even though you are having to correct them and trying to get an appointment is even worse. Over 2 weeks wait to have a nurse appointment for monthly blood tests. Since the hospital done shared care with them it has been a nightmare.
