I have never known a surgery so difficult to contact. I have been trying to liaise with this surgery in behalf of a family member, however I've been unable to get through. A serious review of their telephone system and amount of receptionist staff is needed

  2. Review titled No positives to this surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been prescribed 2 medications by my Liver specialist which the GP won't repeat prescribe. Also have taken me off another medication that I had during cancer treatment, saying I no longer need this, despite Oncologist requesting I stay on this medication. No appointments except by phone, when they ring you at some point on the day (no timeframe). And more recently I have been left days without medication because Dr needs to send to Pharmacy. When they need to contact me about test results, that doesn't happen either. Tried to ring today and was no 18 in the queue, which took 1hr 40mins to answer and then not by my surgery but by Hanley practise. The only contact they have with my practise is via email. This GP has run this practise into the ground since it was taken over. And it falls below the "duty of care" that Dr's should ensure happens.

  3. Review titled Shocking service...patients are inconvenient!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had a telephone consultation which was fine. Was prescribed antibiotics due to being more susceptible to infection due to Diabetes, but was advised to contact again if it hadn't cleared up. Here we are 2 weeks later unable to get a repeat appointment or even for the question to be asked of the GP. Farcical situation and spoken to as though I was lying when asked why I didn't ring at 8am this morning...hello, I've been trying to sort this! Maybe they'd prefer a case of sepsis or similar?
