I am very pleased with the services and advice I received from doctors and Nurses over the years especially this year when my health has started to play up. The practice has put health promotion as their top priority and I do appreciate that the team including reception team are trained up to be able to give basic opportunistic health promotion advice that does not necessarily require waiting to hear from a doctor e.g Basic advice about immunisation / screening tests required and due , smoking etc and reminders about due reviews well ahead of time before the routine reminder messages. Well done for this level of commitment to us - your patients. Other practices need to learn from your team.

I have been feeling extremely stressed and out of sorts for a while now I received a very thorough consultation from the Doctor despite the fact that I had multiple concerns to discuss. He listened intently to all my concerns and I left the Surgery feeling heard and taken seriously. This means so much to me because I really don't find it easy to talk about my concerns. This gp practice has come along way,that’s for sure. I no longer dread calling up to have attitude given to me on the phone. I am Thankful for some of the receptionist who are very helpful & polite. However, others have kept me waiting without even acknowledging me standing waiting to check in. Some of the doctors are very understanding, patient and helpful. I do however, feel like it’s a battle to ask some of the doctors to actually listen to what I am saying and I do not understand why there is such a battle to be referred to a specialty that I feel I could benefit from in order to get help with my condition. Preconceived ideas from the odd ones, sometimes makes me feel judged. Otherwise, there are positive changes and hopefully more to come swiftly.

My experience on this particular visit to the surgery was very satisfying. The appointment was made by a very helpful receptionist and the GP was very professional and provided the necessary service to alleviate my health needs. The Doctors are great .The GP took her time with my family and cared for us like her own. The reception and admin team were also very helpful in booking appointments and chasing up hospital referrals. I am very grateful to the team ! massive changes in the last few years for the best.
