    My diabetic management has been hospital based for over a decade. Having moved house Portsdown practice is our new surgery and i was offered a review through them. I can honestly say it was the best experience i've had at a GP's surgery in relation to my condition for sooo long!! Amazingly friendly staff. I might even be able to improve things without venturing to QA if this service is anything to go by

    A call back instead of waiting on the phone 10/10. Call back from Dr within the hour 10/10. Prescription ready within the hour 10/10. Absolutely brilliant service with friendly people.

    Submitted an e consult essentially 2 issues causing the Utimate Problem. Filed under the Ultimate Problem. Response was that I needed to resubmit my 2 issues (causing the same outcome/Problem) as 2 separate e-consults because putting 2 things onto 1 e-consult (even though they are linked) is not allowed. When access to GP is an issue this has essentially wasted 1 e-consult slot and will waste 2 more as I diligently resubmit my issues onto two separate forms With The Same Information! Ridiculous! If there are resudual questions upon receipt of the e-consult, because further info is required then you should Book An Appointment to clarify these, or if too complex for an admin to triage /deal with send to a clinician; don't just bat patients away for "administrative reasons " You will receive the same information about my plight twice more now!? This is ludicrous - what a waste. Making the patient the centre of care- baloney!! This is for your administrative convenience & you'd know that if you read my e-consult because I've done your job and told you what I need and why. Disgruntled Clinician.

    The appointment was at a convenient time, although as I arrived early I had a short (5 min) wait.. The Nurse was polite, pleasant and carried out the test efficiently with no discomfort to me.

    Very friendly and reassuring. When I told them I was anxious about the process they were very reassuring and supportive. All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and polite.

    I had a consultation because of a recent diagnosis of emphysema and in order that I understand the diagnosis and what I need to do when symptoms affect me. I learned a lot of useful information and was given a care plan for COPD and an updated asthma plan as well. I had no difficulty parking outside the surgery, a very short wait and started my appointmenet a few minutes earlier than scheduled. Very happy indeed thank you

    Disgraceful service. Wasn't told it was a fasting blood test. So i wasted £10 on a taxi to get to the surgery only to be told i couldn't have the blood test as I'd had 1/2 cup of coffee. They didn't care and acted like it was my fault.

    I attended the surgery for a routine appointment with the practice nurse to have my stitches removed. The procedure was quick and painless. Whilst I was there I was also offered a flu jab which meant that I didn’t have to return to have the injection. This was also quick and painless. Lovely nurse very friendly and put me at ease.

    Will not give me an appointment. Puts on restricted medication without them seeing me, and am in crisis. They do not care. They actively employ gatekeepers to stop you from attaining an appointment. The worst surgery in Portsmouth and surprise surprise they are a group. Well, your group is terrible, and honestly you should be ashamed of yourselves.
