Filled in a form for a doctors appointment. Received call from receptionist advising no doctors appointments available in the next three weeks.

I had to end up walking out this surgery. I could feel this place giving me high blood pressure after waiting 40 minutes for my 1 year olds gp appointment. I did arrive early for the appointment and was very hard to keep a 1 year old entertained for that time in a clinical sterile place. I asked the receptionist after 25 minutes and was told we were next in. This was an amazing lie as the patient who arrived 20 minutes after me went in to see the only gp that was in the surgery. I walked out of that place without telling your receptionist because I would have lost my temper, but they don’t know why my child needed to see a doctor and they never took the courtesy to give me a follow up call to enquire our whereabouts and to arrange another appointment. I understand there could be mitigating reasons why our appointment was delayed by 45+ mins (I can’t say how long the wait would have been because I left) but the receptionist don’t care and because they have lied I fully expect them to report this as a none attendance, even though they saw me pacing the place for 40 minutes keeping my son distracted.

Would like to be able to ring up and make an appointment to see a Dr and not have to request this online only to be given a nurse appointment instead (in 11 days time)
