Cancelled my appointment an hour before, no phone call just a text telling me it’s been changed to a phone one instead of face to face on a day I couldn’t do, rang to sort and told no appointments to book and I’d have to ring back next day. Latest in a long list of issues and I rarely go to the doctors but always have an issue with them. Would not recommend.

I took my daughter for an appointment with the doctor. She can be very anxious and nervous due to having autism but she was made to feel very comfortable and at ease by the doctor and we didn't have a wait at all we was seen very quickly.

The receptionist was Very helpful, friendly and polite . The doctor was very good and efficient. I got the appointment immediately.

I had a blood test today that was carried out efficiently by a locum nurse. Although I am not frightened of needles she did put me at ease. The nurse was friendly and accomplished as I hardly felt a thing. Quick appointments and friendly and approachable doctors and staff.

I was offered an appointment within 10 days of requesting one. Most gratifying. I was treated with politeness and respect by the receptionist. The doctor was attentive and listened carefully when I explained my concerns. She responded with clarity and sympathy. Appointments were subsequently made for two tests at short notice. I was extremely well received by all concerned and was most grateful for the professionalism displayed.

Fast efficient service from reception . Doctor was helpful and listened. All the staff are always very helpful and try to accommodate me with am appointment either face to face or telephone as soon as possible. Medications are emailed promptly to the chemist.

Today I went to the practice for a medical review. The doctor that I saw was friendly and approachable. I had my medicines updated and my blood pressure checked.. My husband is getting treated for on going health problems.

All staff have always been very friendly with me. I do get appointments when needed, but feel listened to. Sometimes a problem to get a time after work because there are no appointments after 3pm. This is a shame for working families. I like the doctor and value her feedback to me.

So, due to the nature of my ills sometimes I have found that in past no one cared enough to help me until I joined the Pike Practice and came across the most caring reception staff, recognition truly deserved and of course the best GP I have ever had to oversee my care Dr and I understand I am probably not the worse patient but I have been to hell and back the last few months and if it wasn’t for them putting up with my emails and constant requests. I am proud to be a patient there because I know I am actually cared about and not just a nhs number. No faults for the Pike Practice.

Phone lines are mostly engaged and when you do get through you are instantly put on hold. I understand it’s a busy practice but i recently visited and there were around six staff in total and only one trying to both answer the phone and be on the reception desk. In the last year there was an incident where my blood samples were lost and I had to repeat them only for them not to be on record the second time. The doctors are always brilliant even the locum ones I can’t fault them, however the reception has really gone downhill the last year or two and I have been at this practice all my life, although I don’t need to see a gp regularly I have noticed the change and I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for patients who need regular care.
