Took me 2 years to get the courage to speak out about my anxiety . walked into my appointment The doctor didn’t even want to hear about my problems just straight away told me to read helpline numbers without even hearing about my situation . I was absolutely heartbroken as I sat there he showed no empathy or interest in even listening to what i had to say.

I have had nothing but trouble with this practice regarding my dads medication and blood results . Twice they called at gone 6.30 on Friday evening saying my dad who is housebound and has a tumor, had to go up to A&E or get out the of hours gp out as his blood results was not right . Some of the reception staff don't seem to show any companion whatsoever and are not very helpful at all.

Review titled Good experience

I understand the other reviews are very negative, but my experience of this practice has been very good so far. My partner has been unwell for the past two weeks and two different visits to the walk-in-centre led to no results. Took two days to use askmygp as sometimes it closes earlier than expected, but once we managed it, got a phone call back in two hours and an appointment in three with an urgent referral for a follow-up. Happy to have chose them, we really felt listened

Review titled Not fit for purpose

We are no longer in a pandemic so I fail to understand why they ask you not to visit the practice or call their number but instead use the askmygp app which is switched off on a regular basis . I was advised to contact the surgery following an urgent referral after a mammogram result - the receptionist said very bluntly ‘oh the cancer referral ? ‘ . I was so surprised i couldn’t say much but was then told ‘the Dr will see it today ‘ and no mention of next steps etc . The Nurses here carry this surgery . Going to Google alternative surgery’s in the area

Can never see anyone, either doctors or nurses, and reception not friendly.couldnt get appointment after 6months of trying, so I went to surgery reception and asked for an appointment, because I've been feeling really I'll for months, the receptionist said I'll try to get a doctor ring you bye the end of the day, but don't count your chickens. A doctor did ring me at the end of the day, and I told him my problems, to which he said if you can get here in the next 20mins and pick up a blood test, stool test, and urine test kits before we shut. I went to Linacre centre for tests, a week later they text me telling me they'd lost urine sample and would have to re do it. I was told to make a phone appointment with the nurses for the outcome of the other tests, so I said when would they ring me, to which she said it would be 2 weeks before they could ring me for a 30second phone call, absolute joke. I'm going to have to find another surgery, because now I'm getting older the surgery has become pointless.
