It seems very few staff understand the people they are dealing with are unwell and as such are not always the most understanding or tactful. As a result people like myself avoid visiting the Dr's when we really should be.

This is a Doctors practice not a solicitors office or a brickyard and any new staff should be employed with the required skills. Empathy, sympathy and consideration for it's patients being main priority. After over 50 yrs history with them I've just had a phone battle with an automaton with the telephone skills of the speaking clock... A truly horrendous experience just trying to reorder prescriptions for my elderly, dementia stricken frail old mum whom I do my best to care for. Talked over and treated like a child by a staff member better suited to working in an environment where being abrupt and rude would be deemed an asset... Very disappointed.

Due to several chest infections in the last 5months I have had to ring the surgery several times, I have always been seen by a Dr on the same day who are always very caring ,I really cannot praise them up enough as when I here some of the stories from friends and family not being able to get an appointment for weeks I feel we are so lucky to be with this practise

Despite the well publicised ongoing issues within the NHS i telephoned the surgery on Monday morning and was able to make an appointment for later in the afternoon . All very pleasant and excellent service. Cant complain at all. Thank you P.M.Practice

Not the best experience i had with them. Highly rude receptions dont have manner. Everytime have to spend 1 hours on the phone to speak to the receptionist and if by luck you get through the receptionist will the best to not give you appointment and fob you off.

Dear Patient, thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that you felt this way from your experience, our reception staff are asked by the GP's to triage the calls so that the patients can be directed to the correct clinician, we do have a very high volume of calls some days and are very busy we do have to direct some patients to other services like the pharmacy or minor eye ailment clinic etc if that is necessary unfortunately I don't know what your request was on this occasion, if you do wish to speak to me please contact the surgery and I will be able to talk through your concerns Joanne Chilton Practice Manager
