Doctors unable to provide any appointments and unable to review test results. Been waiting over a week since they receieve them and not even looked at as yet. Issue is now 6 month old and still not even investigated for a child. Not good enough.

I waited on the telephone for an hour, hoping to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, due to my month-long illness, I had to visit the walk-in center instead. The difficulty in getting through to someone was frustrating, and when I finally did, I was directed to contact another number or return to the walk-in center. The quality of service has been quite disappointing.

First caller in line but still waited 5mins before phone was picked up. I will be 65 tomorrow. Rang because l had conjunctivitis. I was asked had l been to the pharmacy l said know l would prefer to see a doctor. I was left holding. Receptionist returned and informed me that in the first instance l should see a pharmacist and if THEYsay l should see a doctor l should call back. Do You Know How Difficult It Is To Get Through To This Surgery!!! I have applied to change doctors l haven’t been able to see any at Parkside for over 4 years.

It is almost impossible to call them because the line is always busy, don’t even dream about face to face appointment because they bother themselves only to text you,this week my son has head aches 3 days in a row and misses the school because of that and they told that they do not do investigations for head aches! Their services are useless!

I placed a prescription and it came through in good time. I went to collect but the pharmacy had run out. With my father's funeral the next day, I needed the prescription almost as a life line for the next few days. I called and Parkside said a prescription would be written and the out of hours prescription team would sign it so I could collect it that eve. It came through earlier than expected so I went to collect it but parkside had written the wrong one out. The pharmacy refused to give me what I needed. I returned to parkside only to be told that I couldn't get my pills that day as the prescription team had gone home and nothing could be done. Even though I was told that I could have it. It was this misinformation and the writing up of the wrong prescription, the refusal to prescribe the pills i needed that day that alongside the stress of my father's funeral made me snap. I was angry and behaved in a way I was ashamed of. I swore and shouted and 100% admit this was wrong. But the staff did nothing. No help. No support (I sat in my car crying for 5 minutes afterwards). They could clearly see I was desperate. No compassion or sympathy. I have now been given a warning by the doctors. No apology for their mistakes, no acceptance of responsibility for the wrong prescription, misinformation and total lack of support. It was a fiasco the day before what i knew would be a very hard day. They messed up on multiple points that day and are taking no responsibility. Like I said, I was at fault for my attitude and how I came across that afternoon but was driven to it by the total lack of support from the staff and the total lack of compassion for someone who had only just lost their dad. They didnt care.

Review titled Impossible to get appointment

It is impossible to get an appointment at this practice. You use to be able to go online to book a phone consultation anytime, but they have recently decided to only allow people to go online at certain times to try and book an appointment so now it's just as bad as trying to get face to face appointment. Impossible to get through at 8 am even. If you ring 5mins before by the time you get through all the appointment s are gone
