I keep receiving text messages re testing for medication level. I am not on any medication. Tried to contact them and after 28 minutes kept on you are caller number two on three occasions and being on the correct option put the phone down. They state that they are accepting new patients. Please deal with existing ones first.

  2. Review titled Absolutely useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

I've been with the surgery for years and lately the experience is below zero. Impossible to get appointment to see doctor and my son who have severe case of eczema is not even being seen by the doctor and is diagnosed with ringworm with prescribed cream which makes his condition a lot worse. Even after explaining this to the doctors or nurses they still tell you its ringworm and do not even listen to you. The reception staff is very rude and even if you talk very calmly and polite they shout at you over the phone.

  4. Review titled Not great dealing with mental health

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have seen a deterioration in my mental health and I have progressively being getting more depressed. I have reached out to the surgery to get advice on medication but all I was prescribed was something for anxiety by a pharmacist. I called again and was told I would get a callback and I didn’t. All I received was a text message to call the mental health hub. I had already spoken to the mental health hub to get advice and they said to speak to the gp who would be best to prescribe medication. A further call to the surgery to say I never got a callback and just a text and the receptionist said that I had been triaged by the doctors and I was expected to refer myself to the mental health hub. No call to explain this only a text. I asked to speak to a doctor and I had a oncall doctor prescribe medication to collect. Was informed there wasn’t any prescription put through. I called the doctors on the Monday who informed me that the prescription was waiting to be signed off by the doctor. By the late afternoon I went down expecting to collect my prescription and it still hadn’t arrived. A further 40 min wait to speak to the doctor surgery to be told that it was still awaiting sign off. My mental health didn’t seem to be of importance and the severity of not getting my prescription could have been detrimental if I didn’t have the family and friends support. Some other people who suffer with mental health may not be so lucky. A lot of work needs to be done in all doctors surgeries on how to deal and help people with mental health as it still seems to be a taboo. I left the pharmacist feeling let down and rejected by my doctors.Improvment is needed asap
