   My 5 month old daughter has had a fever and cough for weeks and I was booked in to see a GP on 24/05 at 17:00 (at Oxford road Burnley), I visited the surgery and was seen at 17:37. As you can appreciate waiting for 37 minutes with a sick 5 month old child isn’t ideal, neither is this professional on your part. In my profession I wouldn’t keep a client waiting this length of time. I appreciate the doctors time is valuable, however, so is mine. I left my 3 year old son at home with a neighbour whilst I visited the surgery. The lack of urgency and genuine care on this occasion was shocking. My usual practise is Parkside surgery and I will Most definitely refuse to use the Oxford road surgery again. You failed in your duty of care and your review ratings reflect the service you offer.
